Lots of ways to split the data
What do you like best about the product?
I don't need to know SQL to parse massive amounts of data. I can create easy, visual charts across many different segments, focusing on really unique cohorts and custom events/attributes. I really like being able to create dashboards and easily add them to workspaces to share with the broader teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be challenging to compare the rates between different periods. It is easy to execute this using their comparison functionality, but it's not always super clear in the charting. I would love a different UI for being able to measure MoM or WoW performance for the metrics and events I choose to chart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude has helped us analyze AB tests in a more in-depth manner using funnels and cohorts, as well as keep a firm eye on key funnel metrics. Using their "group by" functionality, we can see what levers are affecting these core conversion rates and changes that we encounter.

User friendly Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The integration was super easy. Data analysis and visualization get very easy. I can export data to create segments and import them to another tool. Creating multiple dashboards is such a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I won't term it as a dislike, but yes, the UI needs some improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User data analysis and user flow is our primary check is just the best when it comes to Amplitude.

The granularity you can go and research in the data when you track all well

You need to find your insights by yourself and know how to track all events upfront as possible

All user analytics behaviors and actions of the product and also outside (purchases, server events etc..)

The template feature allows me to set up a data set for any one of my customers quickly and easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are not as intuitive as I would like spiking the learning curve and taking time to master. In all fairness, once you take the time to learn, more insights come to light. Forced enlightenment might be what I'd call it...lol
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trend identification and data comparison across a broad market to pinpoint best practices and process success. This gives me the ability to respond quickly to changes in the market and be proactive with recommendations to clientele base.

Amplitude is a powerful, yet intuitive tool to measure performance.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Amplitude is easy to use and allows for multiple ways to view your data. The Amplitude team is also very helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it can take a while to build multiple charts because you cannot duplicate events or copy and paste things with ease.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Performance of marketing campaigns, audience sizing, cohort creations.
Easy to use, hard to master
What do you like best about the product?
The speed of and flexibility of aggregating all events. That combined with the overview i get from all dashboards

As amplitude grows it can be hard to understand all the new features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Firstly, getting an understanding of our site/app health. Are all our products performing as expected? But also user behaviour, what paths are users taking

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Amplitude frequently adds new features to the platform, and they seem to really listen to their users when making changes. Customer support is helpful and quick to respond to questions with thoughtful, detailed investigations and information. There are a lot of great features that make my job easier. One of my favorites is the anomaly detector with root cause analysis. That's helped me several times to notice an issue with our platform or our data and to isolate the cause quickly. The Cohorts feature is also very powerful, as is Annotations. In general, it feels like they really designed the platform with end-users in mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
The flip side of frequently launching new features is that a few times, features weren't 100% ready for prime time when released, and we ran into pretty significant bugs. Their support team was quick to respond with workarounds and kept us updated as they rolled out fixes, so in the end it worked out, but it would be better if features that haven't been road-tested were more clearly marked as still being in beta until the kinks are worked out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us marry up data across web and our mobile apps to give us a fuller picture of our platform. It enables us to better understand how our community interacts with our platform and identify areas where we can improve our features, or areas where we should invest in further user research.
