Effective for Quick Querying
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can jump into Amplitude and quickly pull a lot of data, even while I'm in the middle of a meeting. I've often made valuable contributions to meetings while they were happening - I thank Amplitude for that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have submitted many product requests to Amplitude, usually for little things that would make my analyses a little more relevant or powerful. I've never seen anything make it through yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We often use Amplitude to dig into a funnel to find from which specific step (or platform, city, or any other user attribute) a conversion rate drop or increase is coming. We've found success doing that.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is easy to use once you get a little bit use to it. Gaining insights is quick and actionable. The most significant advantage to this tool, in my opinion, is the speed at which you can go from raw data to actionable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude is a bit like Excel in that getting your hands dirty and finding valuable insights is pretty quick and easy. But that data often leads to more questions, and sometimes, finding more advanced insights are more brutal to get working. Sometimes it's the data's fault, as if not set up correctly, it can be impossible to get what you want, but other times the tool cannot get what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows us to understand the various engagements of our users. What are they clicking, what are they doing, and how do they behave. It also allows us to analyze all the funnels we have to determine what a successful visit looks like and the highest performing.
Great data toolset to choose from.
What do you like best about the product?
Preset data toolset (segmentation; funnel; revenue lt; etc) help us navigate through data frameworks very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Funnel could have more functions, and have an integration into segmentation;

Understanding user behaviour; Easy to understand conversion and user segmentation.
A great tool for the masses, but doesn't alleviate the need for more in-depth analysis

It's easy and fast to build charts and get a read on our data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Copying dashboards isn't straightforward without templates. And having to own every card in a co-owned dashboard to save filters is very annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick and easy data that is accessible to all users within the company. Non data-savvy users can get to most of the same data as analysts.

Cross al the data in my app in order to find insights its very valuable for any business, through amplitude the possibility to have my own main view dashboards helps my day by day.

I would like and easy way to have cross app data.

Excellent. Complex data in simple ways. Saving hours and hours in SQL coding.

That you cant build REALLY custom databases with SQL and export them. Would be awesome.

easy to use queries which relate to actual sql.

some formulas are cryptic and I dont really want to do to go to the help page to get a detailed explanation everytime, give me a short description as a nudge inside amplitude

formulas are a bit hard to get into, rest is breeze.

I really like the ability to quickly create charts on the fly. Especially when I am looking for real-time analysis on real-time activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is only as good as the data it receives. We still spend a lot of time crafting and sending server-side events to Amplitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acquisition, conversion, and engagement. Benefits have mostly been on the conversion side. Still working on getting better analytics for acquisition and conversion.
