Intuitive Platform with Deep Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Amplitude Analytics is fairly easy to use, which makes it simple to teach and get others started on it. The layout is intuitive, with events on the left and results on the right, and this constancy over the years has been helpful. I appreciate how easy it is to go deep and do a deep dive into features and user behavior. Plus, it's quite user-friendly overall and didn't take much to set up; just track events and users, and you're ready to go. Many features just work, which is why I give it a ten out of ten.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say there's a lot of features that go unused. Because it's a lot of adoption or I need to update our implementation. For example, session replay and heat maps aren't used because we're using another tool, and it would be great to combine tools, but that's something I need to put effort into. Another thing is the guides and surveys feature, which seems amazing, but the pricing is way too high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics solves the problem of understanding user behavior in my product and helps me dive deep into feature usage. It's easy to use yet powerful, allowing our entire company to adopt it quickly.
Amplitude: Powerful, Flexible User Behavior Analytics That Speeds Decisions
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is an extremely powerful tool for user behavior analysis, especially when the goal is to go beyond surface-level metrics and truly understand user journeys, retention, engagement, and churn.
Its biggest differentiator lies in the robustness and variety of analysis methods. If you have limited data knowledge, you can rely on simpler visualizations such as segmentation and engagement funnels. If you have more advanced expertise, the sky is the limit: exploratory analysis, simple or multiple correspondence analysis, journey analysis, and more. For product, UX, and growth teams, this significantly speeds up decision-making and brings data closer to the day-to-day reality of the product.

What do you dislike about the product?
On the other hand, the tool has a considerable learning curve, especially for those without a strong data background. The quality of insights heavily depends on solid event modeling, which requires team maturity and strong alignment between product, engineering, and analytics. Having a dedicated analytics professional to build a well-structured taxonomy and event architecture is essential, as this directly impacts the quality of analyses. Additionally, pricing can be a barrier for smaller companies or early-stage teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps solve the problem of understanding why users behave the way they do, not just what is happening in the product.
Overall, Amplitude is an excellent choice for companies that already have a data-driven culture (or are seriously investing in one) and want to move beyond descriptive metrics toward more powerful insights, with user behavior clearly reflected on the screen.

Indispensable for an Accurate Customer Vision
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of having a variety of graphs and charts that really allow us to delve into what's happening in the product. The ability to create dashboards on separate features that the whole team can benefit from is really important. I would say that one of the most powerful features is that of cohorts, which allows us to zoom in on a particular usage and determine the users who make the most use of a feature. This gives us the direction in which we want to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
What would be great is if, at the AI level, it were possible to brief the AI on what the product is supposed to do, and then the Amplitude agent could study the data in the different dashboards and make a comparison between the usage and the intention of the product. This would help to understand the current gap between what we want to do and how people are using the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps us lift the opacity of user usage, provide detailed insights, and allows the entire team to benefit from various graphs and dashboards. The cohort feature is powerful, enhancing our understanding of users and effectively guiding our decisions.
Powerful Analytics, Moderate Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Amplitude Analytics is a powerful tool that allows us to see the full user journey, which really helps with visibility and making data-driven decisions. There are lots of features that provide substantial assistance in understanding and leveraging user data.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy to understand for beginners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics for data-driven decisions. It solves visibility and decision-making problems, allowing us to see the full user journey.
Helps Me Understand User Behavior as a Growth Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I am a Growth Manager, and thanks to them, I can understand how my users behave.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a data engineer (or technical in data), and I find it difficult to know what and how to measure certain things, and I waste time redoing some events or properties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
to understand who the users behavior are
Intuitive Analytics with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the graphs in Amplitude Analytics are easy to create and simple to read. The platform offers an enormous amount of complexity yet has a great UI/UX and does not feel overwhelming to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more flexibility with modifying graphs, especially colors and labeling. Also, due to the sheer size of the data, it can sometimes become noisy, which is not easy to clean within Amplitude Analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics for product analytics, building dashboards, and monitoring performance. It gives me an exact view of the customer journey, helps identify pain points, and offers a great UI/UX without feeling overwhelming.
Easy Access to Insights Without Needing SQL
What do you like best about the product?
This is a really easy way to get information without having to use SQL.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can’t move the filters when I’m creating an event.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the moment, it’s helping me get information about my company’s active users, and I can access that info really easily.
Review from perspective of a complex product
What do you like best about the product?
Clever way of joining event information that saves an analyst a lot of time: eg user journeys and flows, ability to build funnels with flexible time frames. Visualisations are mostly clear and I do not remember a lot of viz types that I felt were missing
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s a 2000 event limit. We track the logged-in user experience, and we need more events than that. The problem is that once we start grouping events together to stay under the limit, we lose important context. For example, if we group all page views into a single event like “viewed a page,” then the user journey ends up looking like someone went from a page to a page, with no information about which page they came from and which page they went to.
The navigation also feels pretty clunky. I often find myself clicking around just to locate basic information, and it’s not easy to find what I need.
On top of that, some information gets cut off with no way to view the full text. For instance, our event names can be quite specific and therefore long, but I can’t see the full name. Even when I click into an event to view the details, I only see a few more characters, and still not the complete event name.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Usage of features from product tribes, a self service manner for the product to access information without having to always relay on the data team. It saves around half FTE time
Great charts & feature flags, but a learning curve for non-analytics users
What do you like best about the product?
I like the charts & dashboards. I like that there are feature flags too.
What do you dislike about the product?
As someone whose background isn't in analytics, it's not been the easiest platform to pick up. I've made the most progress using LLM tools with an MCP server to create charts & dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product cohorts, retention rates, and holistic product analytics
Intuitive Visualizations with Room for UX Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Amplitude Analytics for its ease of use and visualization capabilities. It greatly helps me in attributing performance to different campaign types and simplifies creating project spaces. I find the charts and graphs very helpful for visualizing performance data, especially when I'm communicating with stakeholders. Being able to create charts for visualization purposes and look at performance by channel and campaign has been really beneficial, particularly when tracking email versus SMS and push performance within one or even across multiple brands.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain UX features could be improved. I would like better ways to compare data between time periods and a system-check for UTMs, flagging UTMs if no performance data is reflected due to changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics for attributing performance to different campaign types and visualizing performance data with charts and graphs, which helps in communicating with stakeholders.
