User-friendly tool that anyone can use (with some ramp up)
What do you like best about the product?
You can make complex charts easily with Amplitude. Also, Amplitude saves a lot of time since you can make charts very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool lacks customizability when grouping the data. I don't have many options as to how to visualize it, naming the x-axis, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solved problems related to our mobile game. What is the game's retention? What is our DAU? How often does the player interact with a feature in the game?
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Amplitude is a great tool and can answer many questions in terms of analytics. There are, however, some limitations.

Can be glitchy - have to refresh the page for data to show up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Use for product discovery, optimization, and monitoring
Effective tool for product feature analysis and behavioural segmentation.
What do you like best about the product?
Im able to quickly dive into user behaviour questions without the need of heavy data requests. It also enables us to quickly segment high-value users into marketable cohorts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a tool to be used for marketing reporting. Its best geared towards product analytics that can be used to inform marketing decisions (such as feature uses, funnel drop-offs, and discovering engaged users)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've found the ability to quickly explore user behaviors is enabling us to make faster, and more informed, data-driven desicions. The ability to integrate product A/B testing has improved our features as well.
My job is much easier now.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to compile all my charts together in a single dashboard – and drag and drop them in order of priority. This is super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe I haven't figured it out yet, but I can't seem to identify the source of traffic – I can only track on-site journeys from the point of site entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can now see exactly how much traffic and CTR my content is generating, and track weekly performance – makes my Monday mornings a breeze.
Easy for basic data pull and quick understanding with no involvement of data analytics team
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes it easy to visualize data for conversions, funnel tracking, and also user cohorts ( especially based on device and app versions) without relying on firebase, app store console, developers, or data analytics team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets difficult to run multiple filters at once ( like that of complicated SQL queries). It is inconvenient to convert the user id to hashed user id and check for details every time. It would be great to ramp up amplitude's security to use user-id instead of hashed user-id. Also, a provision for converting user id to hashed id on amplitude itself will benefit. Loading time for amplitude dashboards is very high, especially when it has multiple charts.

Use amplitude for - Product Analytics, Tracking features after release, exploring a/b testing currently.

Easy understanding of the data that is being tracked
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, it was not clear to me what sort of data is being tracked because I am not on the product team or have a clear idea of what architecture of the tech solution. But as soon as this was clear the data and functionality became simple
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
understanding user interaction with our app, but ideally once ordering is launched the intention is to better understand user purchase behaviour and effective marketing performance
Hands down the market leader of Product Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily present and democratize the understanding of Company data. The constant implementation of new features that solve many complex use cases. Hands down the best product analytic tool on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some statistics algorithms should be reviewed, like personas. Clustering is a serious problem and should be solved by a transparent and flexible tool or not solved at all. Company does not like annual price review not aligned with inflation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Optimizing Conversion Rate in our App, optimizing user journeys and finding critical points in our customer Experience. We were able to increase the performance of some critical experiences.

Product has always some amazing feature in roadmap. Well backed up
It is really easy to use, I wish we had better device id information.

sometimes the order of events is not correct, difficult to understand true funnel conversions

optimizing onboarding funnels, AB experiments
Hard at the beginning and easy in the current use.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform helps a lot to understand data in-depth all the behavior inside the Newron platform... functionallites as copy and paste is the best option to not repeat tasks and save time (this option should be more intuitive)
What do you dislike about the product?
The first step, understanding the platform, learn about cohorts, and how to build graphics is the most difficult but after you go beyond that barrier, its easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is used to understand and track the behavior of GfK platform users; in that way is very effective, all metrics allow to understand different scenarios of our users and then take actions or push the usage if is necessary.

short video recommendations or mini training to understand small tasks
Easy to set up, easy to use once you understand basics

It is easy for anyone to use once they understand the basic functionalities
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to find events unless you know what to look for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It does not track page scroll. We've been able to use it to inform product decisions.
