Useful tool for tracking and displaying user interactions to guide product decisions
What do you like best about the product?
I find amplitude simplifies collecting and filtering user data and interactions to highlight product impacts and usage. This information can significantly help the decision-making process to be more objective and customer-focused rather than based on conceptual principles.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be a high learning curve and level of complexity involved in first setting up helpful charts and metrics and displaying these on a dashboard. Additionally, permissions applied within a dashboard don't apply to individual charts within that, so shared ownership of data and metrics can be complex.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us track and monitor customer interactions with our product. The main benefit is measuring the success and take-up of new products and features and identifying where UX improvements should be made.
I encourage to use Amplitude for any team checking the web/app API data driven metrics / charts
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful resource for me is the quick search feature integrated with all the options of the platform so I can easily give a keyword, and the program will provide the options also I like the option to sort the charts results based on API error codes or countries or platforms without the need to set up those options manually and the hability to create your own spaces and dahsboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some KPIs based on URLs, that we can visualize in year basis that are not always accurate in the best way in Amplitude, however, if we look for the same metric is less than a year it looks fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows checking app/web trends like how many apps were downloaded ? How many people login into the web or the app? How many signs? How many clicked on specific options? That is among many possibilities that could be configured via API or URLs.
Costly but worth the money
What do you like best about the product?
Analyzing experiments and resolving all queries I have regarding my products always takes me back to amplitude. Before too long, I have all the answers, thanks to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is clearly on the higher side. That's the only (though of a considerable magnitude) downside. I wish it were relatively easily accessible to smaller teams out there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exploring the potential of amplitude for a new user might be difficult. For experienced individuals, though, it is a breeze. We have been able to scale our product rapidly using Amplitude.

- I dislike that sometimes there are a lot of things to explore in amplitude that can make me struggle to find somethings

I am a product manager, and I love looking at the data to gather actionable insights on my product. Amplitude improves how I work and helps me focus on the most important things for the business through Data
Great user experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy for me to create, dice, and slice the data I'm looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
The side bar includes a lot of things that I'm not sure if i need all the time.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create custom charts that does a good job of visualizing data and helping explain how users interact with the product. It is very helpful in identifying trends.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I don't like. There has been a couple of times when amplitude was experiencing a partial outage but that is few and far between.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to identify trends in how the user is interacting with the product and if users are clicking on new features. The conversion charts have been great to learn as they show the journey users take and where the falloff period is.

It is great

I like how easy it was to look for metrics, and It is also easy to create a dashboard that can be shared with colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how it cannot easily select the time range I'm interested in looking. There are only fixed time intervals, and I cannot just select myself.

I'm using it to check how each identifier group is triggering each event—mostly used for A/B testing at work.

Flexible Reporting To Fit Most Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, Amplitude is an excellent tool for understanding cohorts of customers and discovering patterns in customer lifecycles to better inform marketing efforts across all channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
While being a great analytics platform, all of the data is event-based, so it's hard to look back at historic data and previous field statuses of users we're analyzing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're primarily using Amplitude Analytics to better understand how engaged users are with our app and helping to identify potential causes for customer churn rates.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's best to spend a lot of time playing around in the platform to see where you can push it's limits.

I like that I can see almost realtime what our users are up to and how we are performing against our target. I also like the fact that it gives predition of where you are trending towards
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a long time to load all the data, although I don't know whether this depends on our data aggregation pipeline or Amplitudes itself. Everything else looks ok

With AMplitude Analytics we are able to see funnels across different areas of our platform, as well as being able to check traffic to the website and run comparisons between web and native apps
