What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude Analytics automatically collect data from disperate sources for real-time modeling and visualization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude Analytics has a lot of features to an extent that I have never customized all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting structured, unstructured and geospatial data from cloud and on-premise repositories.

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of details and time stamps, which is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would let you hit Ctrl + F to search for specific events within the browser.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us determine if certain events occurred and providing accurate site information to assist in superior customer service & operations data visualization.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to setup custom dashboards in amplitude to slice & dice data different ways is extremely beneficial in getting actionable insights to adjust marketing programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude isn't always the most user friendly tool for marketing teams - but extremely helpful when working in partnership with data resources in-house to set up dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows us to create custom dashboards to view key on-site customer behavior and look at different cohorts of users. Specifically, we use it to track our on-site quiz activity.

What do you like best about the product?
I find it very easy to transition between different data segmentations, seeing funnels of users, drop off rates, break down groups by different paramters. And it's all very fun and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's not clear what the different available functions do. It would be helpful if you could hover over them with the mouse and get a short explanation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have dashboards of all the metrics that are important and can see right away if there is a problem or if the business goals are slowing down. I can also dig deeper to find where exactly the drop-off is occurring.

What do you like best about the product?
As far as having a single source of truth goes, Amplitude has been amazing. The basics are intuitive, but the more time you spend learning the more complex stuff, the more you get out of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much downtime (or "degraded reporting"), challenging to clean historical data if there are structural issues with ingestion, terrible options for visualizations, and too hard to create analyses based on sequences of many events by the same user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude provides us with the data and insights that are critical to telling our story to investors, understanding how users are affected by changes to our platforms, and tracking the viability of our product as it has grown
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to set up via Segment integration! This will make adding new tools much easier.

Depending on your teams setup, the data can get confusing. Need to continue to better cater Amplitude features for teams beyond product analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User insights that we can directionally leverage for User Acquisition. Quick reports with understanding of internal data structures.

Build out a strong analytics team function and ensure cross-functional team collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the analytic visuals you provide, makes reading things that are generally hard to digest a little easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I don't like, but as a newer user, navigating back to teams to find the ones I want to join was a bit tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
visualizing data! Gettings things from multiple sources and getting a birdseye view of it all.

What do you like best about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve, but once you understand how to use Amplitude you'll be able to create a variety of charts (segmentation, funnels, etc.), compare specific time frames, create custom events, and more. It's my go-to tool for understanding how users are engaging with our products.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can take some time to get used to. It's not immediately clear how to do certain things, such as creating custom events. Event and user properties are easy to confuse. Event and property definitions aren't required. If you aren't intimately familiar with how events/properties were set up, it can be difficult to build accurate charts and gather actionable insights from the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For those in the organization familiar with how Amplitude is instrumented on our site and in our app, Amplitude allows for in-depth analysis of user behavior. Alerts are especially helpful, allowing us to catch unexpected shifts in behavior as soon as they appear.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're hoping to use Amplitude daily to get deep insights into your users' behavior, make sure that you are deeply familiar with how Amplitude is instrumented on your site.

What do you like best about the product?
Even though I'm not an expert user, I really like amplitude because it helps me to easily visualize the data in dashboards, which I then use to present in meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit hard to visualize the right data you need, but as I mentioned, I'm not an expert so I always turn to our data experts for more complex asks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude for reports and dashboards that I use to present in meetings. Really easy to visualize the numbers and make them easier for digesting

What do you like best about the product?
The granular level of detail that you can get.
What do you dislike about the product?
365 days data restriction. As a business, I would like to be able to analyze data over longer periods of time and compare it year over year. Amplitude charts break when we use more than 365 days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for marketing and acquisition purposes. I can analyze funnels, and conversion rates and compare by channel.
