Amplitude provides an easy way to track user-interaction
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to add new and reuse old measurements for tracking user behavior on our web pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
The query builder is somewhat unintuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking user behavior that enables knowledge-based steering of product development.
Top Notch Self-Service Analytics Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy setup, and integration with Segment
What do you dislike about the product?
Beware of tricky Segment event properties being mapped to Amplitude (i.e. array of objects)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing business stakeholders to do product analytics in a self-serve manner, leads to faster decision-making across the organization.
Awesome self-service platform
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude allows me as a lifecycle marketer to be totally independent in my ability to conduct data analysis for A/B tests and identify cohorts of users that would be ideal to target for certain campaigns. The ease of use of the UI is a plus as well. It's fairly intuitive, and I don't need to know SQL to be able to pull data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve to Amplitude. It took me a solid 3 months until I felt comfortable being able to pull my own data sets. I still at times need a second set of eyes to make sure I am setting up a report correctly to pull the data I am looking for. I also don't love that Amplitude doesn't tell you if something is stat sig or not. The data also only lasts for a year in Amplitude, which sometimes can be challenging when wanting to do retrospective analyses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows the team to function and operate without the need to rely on an analytics function. We can be totally independent in reporting on test performance, understanding campaign impact, and researching behaviors of different user segments.
Using amplitude for small games
What do you like best about the product?
I use Amplitude for the last several years and it's the most comfortable service for me. It's free for small teams and it's realy easy to build new charts. Often I don't save custom charts because it's very easy to make needed charts in real-time. Also, it's a free service for 10kk events monthly
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the hardest thing is the big price after the free limit. Also, it is not very comfortable Unity SDK methods for validating purchases. And there is no way for tracking the install source. Other things are good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can make any charts with user segmentation by custom properties. It's realy important thing. And our team can make any interesting charts without long calculation.
Amplitude is fast and powerful for in-depth analytics.
What do you like best about the product?
Speed is the biggest advantage for sure. Within my company, we also use Looker for Analytics, but Amplitude is x100 faster. A query that could take up to 30 minutes to load on Looker takes seconds on Amplitude
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike the most about Amplitude is that Dashboard visualizations are very limited. It doesn't allow you to visualize specific steps of the funnel or to show conversion from specific steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude solves the Funnel type of analysis. Before Amplitude we couldn't do those types of analyses. It's helping to answer questions about how are our product consumers; questions we couldn't answer before Amplitude.
Amplitude is an effective, powerful analytics tol

Sharing analysis & graphs easily with teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes it's a little too rigid, lack of flexibility when we want to deep dive into something specific

we use Amplitude to learn who are our users and how do they behave on our app
Good Data is a Head of Product's best friend
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has been instrumental in building GoCart. We embedded analytics and instrumentation from the first lines of code, and it has been incredibly helpful in informing us about how early customers are using the tool and guiding our journey to product-market fit.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like they are moving very heavily toward a marketing-heavy solution - which is great, but I'd love to see them invest more in product instrumentation use cases. The CDP is a great example of straddling both product and marketing use cases. I'd also love a more built-out alerting infrastructure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an early-stage startup, it is very important for us to stay abreast of how customers are using our solution and any issues they are having. That is the main purpose for our use of Amplitude.
Easy-to-use self-service data for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
It's quick & easy: I can get answers to my questions in seconds. But the tiny bit I fell in love with is the no-fuss sharing with the quick link button.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to debug and go deeper: if I think something's wrong, I have no easy way of digging deeper and finding out the root cause.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me a super-quick way to understand how users are using our product, allowing me to make better product decisions.
