I use it to compare metrics and make sure the numbers match, as well as to do some design.
Streamlined Customer Journey Analysis with Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude’s intuitive interface and powerful segmentation tools make it easy to uncover meaningful insights about user behavior across the Ford Pass app. I especially appreciate the real-time analytics and customizable dashboards, which help our team quickly identify drop-off points and optimize the customer journey. The ability to track events and user flows with precision has significantly improved our decision-making process.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Amplitude offers a range of features, our experience with it for FordPass customer journey analysis was underwhelming. The dashboard often felt cluttered and unintuitive, making it difficult to extract actionable insights without extensive customization. The learning curve was steep, especially for non-technical users, and the documentation didn’t always provide clear guidance. Integration with other tools was limited, which created silos in our data workflow. Additionally, the platform’s segmentation capabilities lacked the flexibility needed for complex user journeys, and performance issues occasionally slowed down our analysis. Overall, it didn’t meet the expectations for a seamless, scalable analytics solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our experience, Amplitude Analytics was intended to solve problems related to tracking and understanding user behavior across the FordPass customer journey. However, the platform fell short of delivering meaningful benefits. The complexity of setting up relevant dashboards and the limited flexibility in segmentation made it difficult to gain clear insights. Instead of simplifying our analysis, it introduced additional layers of manual effort and interpretation. The tool’s inability to adapt to our specific use cases meant that the problems it aimed to solve-such as identifying drop-off points, optimizing user flows, and improving engagement-remained largely unresolved.
Very useful platform
What do you like best about the product?
It is a very useful platform where various team members can import dashboards and other useful data. Helps gain visibility on things that otherwise may not be given it's proper attention, especially if it's regarding a different team other than your own.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit slow at times, but not very often to be fair.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting added visibility on parts of the application where you may not know how much traffic it's getting in real-world use

Easy to integrate and use on the Unity side.

I found it a little bit confusing. Maybe it is because i don't use it often but i can't find what search for.

Learning user behaviors, how much time they spend on which behaviors, and focusing on them.
Amazing Experience for with Amplitude Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes it easy to dig deep into user behaviour without needing constant help from engineers or data teams. We can easily track user behaviour without complex changes in code.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning process is bit difficult in start especially for the people who are new to Analytics.

We use Amplitude to understand the following:

3. Conversion Flows
This has helped us to prioritise features and back up product decisions with data.
After using amplitude, our team gets a much clearer view of what actually drives growth and customer satisfaction.

Funnel progression in best way
What do you like best about the product?
The funnel progression view in Amplitude provides a clear, step-by-step understanding of how users move across each stage, offering deep visibility into performance metrics. With such detailed analysis, marketers can easily identify what’s working and what needs improvement. Additionally, the segmentation chart highlights gaps and weak areas, empowering marketers to refine their strategies and focus efforts where they can drive stronger, more profitable outcomes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude is a very powerful analytics tool, but at times it can feel a bit complex for new users and requires technical setup to unlock its full potential. Some advanced features and integrations also take extra effort to configure, and costs can scale quickly with high data volumes. That said, once set up properly, the insights are extremely valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps us solve critical visibility gaps across the user journey. By leveraging funnel analysis, we can clearly identify where drop-offs occur and prioritize fixes that directly improve conversion. The platform’s ability to bifurcate campaigns at a product level allows us to measure performance more granularly, ensuring that each campaign is tied to tangible outcomes. Additionally, with integrations through our MMP, we can analyze app user behavior alongside marketing data, which helps us take more informed actions, refine targeting, and ultimately drive stronger engagement and profitability.

I think Amplitude can't be beat by most.

It's a little rough onboarding unless you're really familiar with analytics platforms from the get go.

Amplitude helps us track product use and we're going to implement for the marketing website soon too.

Amplitude events are easy to configure . The built in analysis tools like funnel , conversation analysis , creation of cohorts helps with slicing data further.

The initial learning phase was bit difficult. Specially with configurations .

the depth of the information you can see is good. Also, the UI feels more modern.

Difficult to understand how to find the data, as it is not very intuitive.
