A reliable tool to track user activities with ease
What do you like best about the product?
I love the User look-up tool of Amplitude as it lets me see what actions a user took while they were using our platform, and what the experience was like, it gives me additional data about the user's device, OS, and more which comes super handy sometimes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes need to read through a lot of docs or watch a couple of videos to understand how to build a dashboard but once you know it, you're all set. So it'a small learning curve for first timers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us solve our analytics problem, we use Amplitude for our internal use where we have dashboard that give unique users using our app each day, week, month, to track growth, it let's us track the actions for a user and makes it really easy to do so as well with just using unique ids. There are more features that I haven't used yet, but my colleagues have built out reporting and metrics tracking using those.
intuitive UI, great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Richard Eckles has been super helpful for my team. He's patiently answered all our questions and helped us build the dashboards we need for the company. He's even attended weekly training sessions to help us make the most of Amplitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some key functionalities that are missing. For example, I can't cut the data based on 'date of month' (1st of every month etc). In addition, figuring out how to write bespoke functions seems useful, but there isn't enough documentation to enable to users to figure it out immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is allowing us to build dashboards easily, even without any data/tech expertise.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use at the beginning because it has a lot of pre-built chart formats and types for it. It has also great tools for advanced analysis and user segmentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have the ability to rename some property events under certain circumstances. Sometimes events change and you start seeing a NONE where a new property is now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps a lot to understand the impact of any experiment we run. It's also very helpful to detect possible errors or maybe some problems with the product itself.
Get deep insights in your data (even the metrics that you didn't plan)
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setup and creating quick charts! You can also segment various details based on your application-level metrics. If you are running a Saas product without any visibility, I would highly recommend integrating Amplitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Sometimes there is some duplicate events (might be an integration issue as well).
2. Dashboard UI should allow adjusting the timeline across all charts (Grafana does this well)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting complete visibility into the adoption of the product with appropriate tagging.
Amplitude provides all data at your fingertips and is easy to manage!
What do you like best about the product?
Customization within different reports. Graphics. Ability to easily switch between different time intervals like 1 month, quarter, 1 year.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to recreate some dashboards to take advantage of a new feature (which I really wanted) that allows you to have a dashboard and switch from one customer to another and have all reports switch to that customer. The great news is that new features are constantly being released!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without Amplitude, we would not have the ability to report on specific utilization of our product. Amplitude allows us to see data that we were not able to uncover before and make it actionable and shareable with our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
I had in mind that Amplitude was easy, but when I started to learn and use it I was surprised it was easier than I thought! Creating and understand the events you want to measure is so easy!! With many tools ready to use to work with your data, is easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I've seen that sometimes it takes too long to refresh data, and sometimes it could take more than 30 minutes! This is too much time considering this excellent toll's real-time purpose. Learn from past events to improve this

I wanted to understand our customer's behavior for main events performed in pur website as well as gather historical data to take business decisions based on this

Using Segment, Amplitude is the perfect destination for your product data.

Pricing can be a expensive when you have high volume of data.
Lack for a Table view for some analysis.
Some charts type are a tad complicated, but with a few readings, you'll likely understand everything.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude for our Product Analytics. From Lead Generation to In-App behaviour, we have a massive collection of charts & reports we follow on a weekly basis, to take decisions.
Great insights on user beahviour
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is easy to use for both analysts and people with a less technical background. With its drag and drop technology you can obtain insights from data in seconds!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limitations in the timerange you can use. You can't combine more events in the segmentation chart, but you must create a custom event instead. It would be interesting to aggregate daily data at a weekly / monthly level taking - this would be the sum of daily users instead of monthly or weekly users.

Amplitude is allowing me to analyse how users are interacting with our app and conducting AB tests

What do you like best about the product?
I am very glad that we have the opportunity to use the Amplitude tool in our project. This is a really powerful and flexible product analytics tool that helps to study user behavior on the product more deeply. After the first month of use, we managed to find some quite interesting insights about keeping our audience on the platform. And we plan to conduct a number of tests based on the data obtained in the near future. A flexible reporting system and integration with Slack helps to quickly share information with colleagues and involve them in the process of finding new hypotheses. Very cool
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, on a large project, it is quite difficult to determine before implementation how useful its use will be. It might be great to increase the limits on trial use. For example, without restrictions on events, but for a maximum of 1-3 months. This would definitely allow the teams to realize the value of the tool, immerse themselves in it and convert into selling to those who doubt
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In most cases, we solve cases and look for insights related to Retention or conversion to a paying user. So far, we have received a lot of data to form hypotheses, which we will begin testing in the near future
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The UI of the system is great and user-friendly. It takes me less than 5 minutes to set up charts that provide profound insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major downsides - only sometimes the data and charts takes a while to load if there are several filters and segments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to save time on analytics. I don't have a background in data analytics or programming, and usually would require separate analysts to look into the data for me. With Amplitude, if I have any questions about my user base - who's performing a certain activity, how often etc. it takes me only a few minutes to answer those questions.
