Need detailed analytics, must try Amplitude Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I have recently come cross this tool that has opened new doors for me and taught me how I can have the detail analytics about the launching of my products. It answers, most of my complex questions and before taking any action I already knew about its pros and cons. This tool is so quick and so diverse in its nature that it is easy to get the product experiences to build next one. It has simplest interface and offers collaboration that has enabled my team to get in and get to work in a professional manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is highly technical tool to understand without the best information about the product I cannot really relay on it. Also this software does not comment on the authenticity of the data provided due to which there is always a risk associated with it. I wish while extracting the information it could provide the reference as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers good security and compliance standards so that my data remains safe. It offers multiple product analysis and supports multiple devices for giving me the advanced analysis so that I can meet my needs well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will not recommend this tool as a universal platform, there are more precise options available, one of the things is that our those team members who have no logged in are unable to see the information we want to provide, as no convenient method is designed to share the chart. However it is reasonable in price, you can give it a try, as various plans are also available.
Amazing Event Analytics Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love their dashboard and event management. You can push customized events and analyse them in different ways like Event Analytics, Funnel, Revenue and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't seen anything that I don't like. Still I would love to see custom domain support in there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can see from where are we getting traffic, what users are doing and where can be an issue in feature. So we are using it to improve user experience as well as finding issues on product based on the events they perform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for what users are doing with your product, Amplitude is the best product to implement. Trust me you won't regret it.
Amplitude makes event tracking simple
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is easy to use and has a generous free tier. Creating and sharing dashboards and data is quick but it also supports more complex use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
As we are using Segment, there are some peculiarities with the implementation, especially with session length. Segmenting users - which is a major thing - does require a paid for version, but to me that's not a huge issue when considering tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to know how our users use our platform and what are their biggest pain points during their journey.
Amazing product that continues to improve - perfect if you have event data to analyse!
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, Amplitude has such a wide range of features that IF you have event data, this is likely the best self-serve tool you will encounter for product analytics. If you don't have event data (or if your event data is all back-end), then I'd argue Amplitude isn't the right product for you.
To think, we have a tool that I can make a graph mid-meeting and feeling 90% confident about it... that's a dream come true.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some features or cuts that you wish existed don't exist yet - however the Amplitude team continues to roll new features out. Some fancy features like A/B testing results could benefit from walkthroughs of their calculations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How are my users onboarding? What features do they use? How well are they retained? How can I improve drop-off... the list goes on. The benefits are a quick and directionally accurate way to get answers about user behaviour is priceless.

I love amplitude, I have a free version now and for sure I want to pay for this. The only thing I am afraid is to pay 50k a year, our starup is from latam and this is a lot of money for this stage. Hope soon you make an affordable pricing for latam.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Take decisions based on data, specially for funnels and churn optimization.

Retention help us to know churn and retention over period of time , without manual calculation.
User sessions and funnel analysis help us to understand the user session length this help us to know engagement time of users , whereas funnel analysis help us to know the drop off points and conversion rate of each step.

limitation of downloading the users . even after using API , can only download in json format . than we have to work to convert json to csv . looking for some easy export process.

should have some dashboard feature where we can combine data from multiple sources , for eg some of our data is in Mysql database and some in Amplitude. it require manual efforts to generate combine dashboard from multiple sources currently we are using google sheets ,excels.
This I will not say dislike - but one of the feature request , if Amplitude can help us with heatmap features ,which can help us to know where user hover,scroll or click in our platform to better understand user experience .

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes it easy to share findings about product performance, such as new rolled out features. We can do reports with a really good granularity to discover product issues in some versions. Our next goal is to use Amplitude events and funnels to predict user behavior in order to optimize pais media.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features that are not available in the free plan, such as pathfinder. Saving report edits and sharing with teams and dashboards is not that obvious sometimes too. Price is really high, what is leading us to expend a lot of time evaluating whether to subscribe it or not due to our high event volume, and the lack of a monthly plan doesn't help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're are discovering some drop out points and making hypothesis that are helping us increase product retention. New features are now evaluated the next day they are released. We are gaining speed in problem solving and finding specific device issues we couldn't do without Amplitude, and anyone on the team can now discover new problems and opportunities. This is, probably, the most valuable point here: we can have designers, product managers and engineers looking at the same issues and sharing different views and hypothesis about what is prioritary to solve.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a game-changing analytics tool. It's important to spend some time thinking about taxonomy and setup, but they do help with this. If your company could pay, go for it.
Great analytical service
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes measuring unique tracking link and email campaigns really easy. It also integrates to database events with easy query workflows for even non-coders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude takes a bit of a learning curve. I was able to learn it well from using training sessions and templates from my colleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None at the moment. Amplitude is really reliable. I've been able to perform self-service reporting with much faster speeds than previous analytical tools, not to mention more confidence in the data and query logic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a few data scientists manage the service and roll it out with training content and documentation. Our Customer Success Team, Growth, and Marketing Teams have loved it and it's been successful due to our great Data Scientists and Growth Engineers!

If you don't have product configure the product for your customer success team, it can be not user friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating charts and telling a story through data. I really like the event management as well. It's super easy to upload a picture of the event whether it's a click event or page view event. In addition, being able to write a description of the event and when it triggers is super helpful for our development teams and our product teams. It gives me, as a product management, an ability of control that I previously did not have. In summary, Amplitude is super easy to use, integrate, and control data within.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being able to edit and organize isn't the most intuitive within the interface. I wish there was an undo button when you're working on creating a chart. There are many times where I'll be selecting certain audiences and events and then I want to go back to a view I was looking at 5 minutes ago that I did not save. Ex. in excel I'd just hit undo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've benefited from being able to see user journeys and a stronger view into our retention rates. We also use the data for deeper insights into our A/B testing which is something we were never able to get in the past.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My only advice would be understand how many MTKs you get with your contract. It can be frustrating not being able to track your entire audience. If you're ok with a snapshot of your audience or paying more for more MTKs then you'll be fine.
