What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is great for visualizing and processing large amounts of data

Often times data is incorrectly categorized.

Visualizing data and creating simple to understand analytics

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is quite intuitive and it's easy to build a chart based on your questions. This ease will also depend a bit on how well your company has been in creating solid and consitant tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you build a dashboard is not so easy to create single filters that apply to all the graphs. There is a way but not always very intuitive. There is no way to change the date range for all the graphs within a dashboard (or I haven't found it yet)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps you understand how your product is being used and make data more visual. It helps you also to create segmentations and target them with communication if necessary.
Getting to know Amplitude has given me the opportunity to learn new skills and do my job better

Intuitive interface and possibility to check many valuable information.

Sometimes it's hard to find the right subpage name in the dropdown list. You should be able to see the full link, for example.

Viewing report for individual content, analysis of site user engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create graphs. The Ui to create them is very easy to use and intuitive. Help documents are well done and explain things clearly

Ridiculously slow. The charts take an insane amount of time and resources to load
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to easily find data insights and share them with the team
Amplitude makes data accessible to entire team, not just analysts
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use, as someone who is not great with more complex data tools, I was happy to see it was easy to navigate and find what I need. There are definitely features I don't know how to apply to what I need, but I can almost always find the answer to the questions I'm looking for. Additionally, the onboarding and customer success managers we've worked with are really dedicated to helping us succeed and answering questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it's not implemented correctly or if teams don't follow the same patterns, it can quickly get messy. However - if it's setup correctly from the start and everyone from the organization adopts it, this can be overcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making product usage data more accessible throughout the company. It allows other Product Managers to pull data quickly and easily on other products so they can make informed decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
- Very easy to start using as long as Segment tracking is correctly set-up!
- The level of flexibility that is allowed by Amplitude is good! A lot of various charts can be used, and those can be set-up rapidly

- requires a lot of riguor because the amplitude product is flexible, but if you are not rigorous in the way you use the tool, you end up using misleading dashboard and draw conclusions which are not the right ones

agregating Segment data via charts and dashboards which are actionable to make better decisions and measure the efficiency of what we do

Takes time to properly know how to use it and ask the right questions

Answers a lot of questions about how the product performs throughout the different iterations
Amplitude is user friendly even for non-data people

I would say the funnels, super powerful combined with the event-base+property philosophy of Amplitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing various charts in a notebook or a dashboard is still complicated, not very smooth. It is also not super adapted for media analysis.

Editors did not know if their content selections were relevant, now they do.
Good pre built use cases for exploring large datasets quickly & efficiently

Entire data is passed on to Amplitude. This makes filtering as well as complex data discovery (For most frequent use cases) easy

1. No query feature
2. No way to look at data beyond 1 year time frame for daily level data

Good tool to process raw logs data & also look at data trends/slice & dice data quickly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us understand the behaviour of customers using our product beyond the surface metrics. We regularly use amplitude to provide a quantitative lens in conjunction with qualitative research to shape onboarding and product features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Requires considerable investment to get value if you don't have a mature data stack.
