What do you like best about the product?
How customizable the reporting can be and easy to share to others for the same view and results
What do you dislike about the product?
General navigation can be difficult - not always straight forward or intuitive. Once found, easy to work with but can be challenging to start off with
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It shows us user behavior and how the consumer would work with our software and items selected, it helps to characterize user behavior and identify deficits

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to use, intuitive, and powerful in the information that it presents. It helps us be better for our clients and that is why we exist.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I utilize all of the tools to help our business grow and exceed the expectations of our customers. This platform allows us to meet the needs of our clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Amplitude to tackle the mountains of data that we receive to help us create precise and actionable plans to help our clients succeed.

Great Analytics tool and room for improvement

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has powerful analytics insights and any member of the team can create a chart on their own to look for the data they want. Don't have to rely on a specific team to find insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often have to export the data into a spreadsheet to be able to add up sums for a date range or figure out impact. I wish that this was built into the system so that I dont have to do the additional work of exporting, sorting, and figuring out what it means for the business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Funnel conversion is a pretty easy solve with Amplitude, also looking at A/B test cohorts to compare things like signups and clicks. The comparison tool makes it easy.

Amplitude can be a little bit shaky if you do not have the proper resources/tools in place.

Configurability is fantastic. Cohort analysis is very useful.

High price for pro version. If lowered would be more intrigued.

Analyzing groups of customers allows for interesting patterns to emerge. This helps drive product dev.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you master the basics, it's really quick to build out meaningful Charts, Cohort Views and Reports for your product and business. We love that each section (esp. Charts) also offers a deeper level of metric or behavior-based templates to work off of. Dashboards are a great way to share specific, easy-to-monitor reports across various stakeholders.

We pass both product and sales data across different sources, which makes it even more powerful to look at the overall product and business performance. We love their bolt-on set of 3rd party integrations as well. As long as you build a solid data taxonomy, and thoughtfully integrate the various sources of data, you'll have a gold mine of data to leverage, build reports on and garner insights from.

Overall, the ability to slice and dice the data as you need is powerful. It is also very intuitive and easy to learn as you go. They also have the Amplitude Academy which is a great learning resource.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our experience, you'll likely need to create a few different charts and views to troubleshoot a complex problem. Sometimes they are either limited in how many metrics they can accommodate or how much you can configure the reports.

You also need to have a good understanding of all the metrics and events to truly build out the report you're after.

As others have noted, there's a considerable lift in implementing their SDK and tagging events initially.

Deeper insights to learn about user behavior, make smarter decisions around product improvements, monitor core metrics, track experiments
Bringing in sales and marketing data from other sources to build an overall source of truth for the business
