Transforms User Behavior Analysis with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Amplitude Analytics' extremely low no-code threshold for non-technical teams. Unlike other tools that require manual event name input or basic coding knowledge, Amplitude's visual, drag-and-drop interface makes complex analyses intuitive. The real-time data access is great, as it eliminates delays in making adjustments to marketing campaigns. I also like that non-technical users can handle the basic working setup independently, and there's faster real-time data sync with more flexible user segmentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the inflexible data export and integration. Exported data only supports CSV, and we have to manually adjust formats to sync with Tableau tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics for non-technical teams to analyze user behavior without code and get real-time data to adjust marketing campaigns. Its visual interface makes complex analysis intuitive with drag-and-drop ease, especially for building funnels.
Eases User Journey Analysis, Pricey for Startups
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Amplitude Analytics is very easy to set up, and I can quickly turn data into charts that clearly show me what I want to see. As a developer, I find the call tracking integration into our app very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the pricing is very high for some small startups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to track metrics and understand the user journey in my app, enabling me to improve specific features. It helps me see how users interact with our app effectively.
Easy Setup for Custom Tracking & Dashboards—So Far, So Good
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to set up and configure custom tracking and dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t really found anything I dislike at this stage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
insight into how users interact with my product
Great for Bug Correlation, but Search Is Too Rigid for Deeper Event Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
I like the number of detailed data point recorded about event and how easy to publish these event (I am not sure if it is that easy out of the gate or if our dev experience engineer wrapped up the complexity away)
What do you dislike about the product?
what i don't like is that search is very regide, the only thing i can do is find the user activity by their id and that is it, I can't even jump to a specifc date or time, I can't search by the event content it would have been very helpful to be able to perform such a search
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a backend engineer I mostly use amplitude for correlating some observed bugs in the back end to an action or a sequence of actions taken by one of our user when often we don't have logs or trace that show this information in our front end apps.
Centralization and Versatility with Amplitude Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I like the versatility of Amplitude Analytics. Despite the system being somewhat complex, the ability to connect it with different artificial intelligence agents makes its use easier. For me, it is valuable because it manages all our data, and even with little knowledge about the tool, we can generate results through artificial intelligence intermediaries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well, as I already said, there are times when it is a bit complex. I understand that there has to be complexity because a lot is allowed, but well, there are times when it limits you. Also, for example, when you want something as simple as a table, it's very difficult to start. So in the end, what I'm doing is instead of trying to generate the table in CCB and handle them outside, which creates friction because it's an action I have to do at every moment. If it were integrated within Amplitude, I could simply manage them from there, choose date ranges, which at the moment I'm doing manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps me evaluate marketing campaigns and their performance. I integrate data from our pages, purchase processes, and user events to facilitate onboarding and analysis.
Flexible and Easy to Learn, But Technical Challenges Persist
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Amplitude Analytics is relatively easy to learn and flexible in customizability. The learning curve isn't steep, so after a few crash courses, I can start creating my own reports and answering questions about Product adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the auto capture was not straightforward and didn't work after weeks of back-and-forth troubleshooting. Maintenance is overwhelming with hundreds of events created by different team members over the years, without centralized governance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics for tracking product adoption and trend reporting, which provides visibility to leadership and facilitates cross-functional sharing.
Effortless Insights with Amplitude Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to fetch insightful information with Amplitude Analytics. I appreciate being able to create charts to analyze data in real-time, segmented by event or user property in seconds. Setting up Amplitude Analytics was very easy, like 10 out of 10, which is great since it lets you hit the ground running.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think a better and more native way to see multi-touch attribution for user acquisition and more tools to customize dashboards, like deciding what data to highlight in a chart and how to display it, would be improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user acquisition, engagement, churn, and retention. It helps build funnels to see where users drop off and analyze first-click and last-click attribution. I can create real-time data charts segmented by events or user properties in seconds.
Great for Dashboard Creation, Needs Better Metric Switching
What do you like best about the product?
I like Amplitude Analytics' pretty nice UI, which makes it easier to view user sessions and identify points of friction in UI interactions as well as drop-off points in funnels. I also appreciate the communication it facilitates between engineering and product teams through features like shared dashboards and events. It's easy for engineers to come in and see the events they've created reported in the data tab, and add documentation to help explain when they are triggered. Having one centralized place for things like events and properties is particularly helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably switching between different modes in analytics. It is tough to find out how to take a particular metric and switch it between median, average, sum, etc. or find out what it is currently filtering by. That has been a main point of contention for both engineering and product. Having an obvious toggle or interactive button somewhere that tells you how the big number across the top of the page is currently being calculated. Maybe on hover or something. Not sure. But when it just says '1.01' you have to look in many places to see what that number actually means initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics lets me view user sessions, see UI friction points, and drop-off in funnels. It provides centralized dashboards and events that enhance communication between engineering and product.
Intuitive Insights, Empowered Decision-Making
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is the best self-service analytics tool I've used. My team can go from question to answer in minutes without waiting on data science or engineering—what used to be a bottleneck is now just... not. The chart builder is dead simple, and the learning curve is minimal. If you can articulate what you want to know, you can build it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The session replay tool isn't as robust as Fullstory and feels slower to navigate. I also wish the funnel charts had more flexibility—specifically, variable time windows between steps and the ability to hold properties constant across steps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It removes the friction between having a question and getting an answer. My team makes faster, more informed decisions because the data is accessible to everyone, not just the people who know SQL.
Easy Implementation and Quick Responses with AI
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to implement Amplitude Analytics and the ability to ask questions through AI and get answers in seconds. The entry barrier is very easy to overcome, and although sometimes the queries are easy to make, the answers can be difficult to calculate; this simplifies it a lot. Additionally, the initial setup was very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many options sometimes for an intermediate level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to have metrics of a digital product and observe user behavior. The implementation is easy, I can ask through AI and get quick answers, simplifying complicated queries.
