Good self-service platform
What do you like best about the product?
We use Amplitude for customer analytics. It is a super robust tool, which is used across multiple departments. We are getting a huge amount of benefits with its analytics abilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
- User interface is far better than any other product in the same category
- Plenty of widgets and customizations

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can be independent in reporting on test performance, audience segmentation, user behavior analysis of different user segments.

Obvious information and various tools to track user behavior.

Less qualitative insights. No recording so far.

It can bring an excellent overview of how products behave so we can know the benchmark to improve.

Love the features:
1. Create analytics (Segmentation, Funnel, Conversion/Drop Off Journey, Cohorts) to get valuable insight easily. The conversion/drop off journey feature is also very impactful.
2. Manage data easily by being able to see the traffic and turn some events off/on easily
3. It's connected with Amplitude Experiment, which is super powerful

What do you dislike about the product?
- Expensive and have limitation based on the number of events
- There is an additional cost to unlock more features like Unlimited Sync Cohort and Alerts. For Alerts, I expect it to be a standard feature.

- Tracking data easily (easy to implement, easy to debug)
- Tracking and managing data in the right way (the training is great)
- Getting insight from the data to solve problems around Activation Rate, Referral, Retention, etc, by understanding our User's Behaviour

Fantastic tool
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely easy to implement and use. Have used many other analytics tools and Amplitude is by far my top recommendation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish a few of their features were available in low-tier plans.

Helps us get a near-complete understanding of our funnel without having to invest in building custom tooling.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to start to use, powerful and fast, visualisations are customizable to some degree. Calculates common user paths.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynamic user properties which are not backfilled make segmentation based on these error-prone and difficult to debug.

Allows a wide audience to explore our data, follow our progress and draw conclusion
Amplitude is a good tool for seeing how our site is performing.
What do you like best about the product?
Visual capabilities in graphs are my favorite part. The group by -function is excellent for comparing different kind of users or pages in the site.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pathfinders can be hard to explain and they don't always show same figures as the funnels. I can't always explain why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are looking at visitor amounts, click trough rates and such metrics over time. Amplitude is a good tool in showing trends and possible pitfalls.

Amplitude is a practical, easy, and powerful way to analyze your product behavior data. All the core charts and the complete data structure are fantastic!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all the charts and logics are clear to the user. We need to invest time and effort to read the documentation or watch tutorials. It's intrinsic to the kind of product, though
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding key questions, and hypotheses, breaking down numbers such as conversion rates (with funnels), and tracking KPIs. Our company is completely different and much more data-driven after Amplitude. The discussions are much richer (culture around data and interest)

Simplicity and the ease of integration is an amazing component that Amplitude provides

When you edit a Segment, you need to re-apply in all the charts again. it does not auto apply in the existing charts

Understanding user behaviour and usage pattern helps us build the right product at the right time.
Great product analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of smart charts and user segmentations. You can easily analyze funnels and cohort behaviors, see drops in conversions etc. Also, I use it to create elaborative dashboards for a high level view of the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product takes time to learn and some things are less intuitive. Also, I'd love to be able to group cohorts by multiple dimensions.

Amplitude helps me understand how my users are behaving, how product changes impact adoption, retention and conversion, which is exactly what I need from a product analytics platform.

Easy to derive insights by user segments for events that impact conversion and view them in ready-to-use formats such as funnel view, segmented view, lifecycle view, etc.

You must invest some learning time before you create your first chart.
