User friendly and adequate tools to help understand my campaign's performance
What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly interface helps me quickly find the tools I need
What do you dislike about the product?
The divergence between Amplitude and media results
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can easily analyze the campaign's breakdown results and identify where is the issue; track real-time performance of new experiments
Amplitude has many useful features and they launch new ones very often.
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that they try to improve their product often. They launch many new features and do notebooks in order to explain them.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our case, we have a sampling rate which can be uncomfortable to work with. We have it because Amplitude is very expensive, this would be the main drawback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can be more quick when doing analysis, specially related to funnels, cohorts of users, retention, etc, which are the ones that are more difficult to do by query or using our business intelligence tool. Also, it helps non-analytics stakeholders being more autonomous.
Great for Quick Answers & Exploration about Usage
What do you like best about the product?
How quick it is to build standard usage pattern carts like funnels, retention curves, segmentation. I regularly use custom formulas too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could show multiple conversion funnels or retention curves side by side on the same chart for comparison.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's excellent for quick exploration when I'm working on deep analyses. It's also intuitive enough for my stakeholders to use to self-service questions.
Amplitude is helpful and low-code for product managers
What do you like best about the product?
I use Amplitude to track my team's key results, defined in terms of user behavior. I also build charts to track user behavior at each intermediate step between getting started with my team's product reaching the behavior that helps us meet our key result. I like best that Amplitude makes it easy to define reusable cohorts of users, copy and modify existing charts, and provide low-code, intuitive interfaces to build useful charts. One random feature that I thought was annoying at first is that I can't permanently save any changes to charts that other users have created. After working with Amplitude for a few months, I now see that this rigid enforcement of version control prevents a LOT of confusion over time, especially with hundreds of charts floating around at a time. All that to say - in my experience, Amplitude has a pretty good pulse on what I need as a business user.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've experienced frequent data outages that prevent data from flowing into my charts. This is largely out of my control since I'm not on the development and instrumentation side, but it's frustrating. I rarely know who to turn to in these cases, and Amplitude doesn't proactively let me know when these problems occur or how to help diagnose their cause. I often hear after the fact from our development team, or I find myself asking, "Did this important metric really just drop 50%, or is it an instrumentation issue?"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is that I cannot track user behavior at scale, and I cannot reasonably observe users in the field given the nature of my product. Amplitude solves this by helping me track behavior at scale and programmatically. Another problem is that data analysis takes a lot of time and effort to do right and without error. Amplitude helps automate much of the process of setting up data streams and charts and cohorts, and Amplitude makes it easy to manage them over time with no code.
Great Tool which helps provide quick insights enabling data driven action,
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations in dashboarding - Can become a full-fledged data viz tool with additions of dashboard titles, color schemes, better design.
Limitations for performing complex analyses/ deep-dive
High cost

Enabling the product team to be data-driven without dependency on the data team
Evaluating new features quickly and fixing any tech issues by observing the conversion funnel

Tracking key business metrics and trends
You can get all the data you need, as long as you know how to do the right search.
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of data you can get with very little information, how to play with the graphs is very easy to have clear conclusions. There are different types of graphs that help a lot to have a quick response and also the alert system that has, can be prepared in such a way that you can take a quick look on a daily basis and if there is a problem you can have an alert to be aware of what may happen.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things I don't like a lot is the number of options it has, sometimes it can become too overwhelming, once you understand how everything works, you get the idea, but at the beginning, it is difficult to understand how everything or most of the tools work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly the work I give Amplitude is basically to get as much data as possible from our product in order to have a slight idea of how it is working, if everything is in order, if it has no problems or if there is any functionality that is failing, I try to have a vision of the whole product in global to be able to react quickly if any technical problem arises.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is difficult to start using, but really once you understand how to do it, they provide courses and meetings with trainings to make the entry easier, it is a very powerful tool, once you have clear the idea you want to get, Amplitude provides you with everything you need to have an answer to your biggest questions about your product. You have a real-time view of things and that's always appreciated.
Excellent customization and deep dig options
What do you like best about the product?
Using Amplitude has really given my company the opportunity to have an objective look at the state of affairs in areas and scopes that we truly care about, the customization options are really unique and the way you can target and slice data is truly one of a kind.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are instances when service is delayed or visibly broken, but Amplitude does provide heads up to users prior to client side actually seeing/feeling the pain of not being able to use their service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the issue of identifying which markets and which cohorts are really helping us and which ones are holding us back. Performance wise, we use Amplitude to maximize A/B test results and help identify clear winners.
Powerful tools, bad dashboarding
What do you like best about the product?
The funnel tool is really handy. It measures the number of users who complete event 1, then go on to event 2, and how long it takes them. This, and many other Amplitude tools (pathfinder, retention, churn,) would be very annoying to create from scratch with SQL, but with Amplitude, it's a simple matter of drag and drop.
What do you dislike about the product?
For people used to the capability of Looker or Tableau, Amplitude's dashboard capability is frustrating. You can't create subheadings, tiles only come in a few limited sizes, and you can't customize colors. It makes the dashboards hard to read or present after more than 4 charts.
The users and cohorts tool has a lot of potential from a sales/account management/marketing perspective, but the reporting here is pretty limited. I look forward to seeing what Amplitude does with it in the future.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is great for measuring how users are interacting with our newly launched product. It helps us find places where users get confused, the most useful features, and how to define an "active" user.
Easy to use Data Tool for PMs
What do you like best about the product?
With the proper training, Amplotude allows a non-technical product person to quickly onboard the data structure and start using it for product discovery. Such instant access to data is a potent tool for product managers. For me, Amplitude is a starting point for any product question I have.
The ability to run both high-level product dashboards and, at the same time, being able to dig deeper per user level is such a powerful combination. Observing a particular user behavior usually gives more insights than anything else. I typically do that before any high-level analysis.
The other best part of Amplitude is the generosity of smaller startups. It's straightforward to start tracking your product performance with Amplitude using their free tier.
The data set up and data managing process is also built pretty efficiently. It gives a complete overview of all the inputs and helps to make any minor fixes right on top of the existing data layer. Pretty useful for sometimes messy product development at startups :)

What do you dislike about the product?
Retention analysis is, unfortunately, the biggest issue I have. If I wanted to know how long a user stays on your platform/product based on what features they used, it's not as intiuituve. Would also be great to be able to order your pinned dashboards by things like date created, etc. This would allow me to sort through based on when I created the dashboard.
Also, their lack of visualizations needed for live storytelling is unfortunate. At a user level, Amplitude does not give any way to present data. Looking through their help center, there is no best way to accomplish this.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Retention analysis and using it to create dashboards for launched Experiments. Also using it to answer Ad-hoc questions.
Very Easy To Use
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can use different charts and graphs based on my desired outcome. I usually use this for evaluating the usage and views we're getting on some of our website pages. I'm able to share this externally with team members and it's become a very helpful tool that we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only thing that could be slightly confusing is that there is so much to learn. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I need to see if there are some training out there that will help me understand the various features
