Clear YTD/MTD Quota Attainment That Makes Commissions Easy to Understand
What do you like best about the product?
The actual attainment against the quota is clearly distinguished with YTD and MTD numbers. That clearly shows the commission that I will draw.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not find any challenges or disliking features in Anaplan
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaplan clearly analyzes my performance in terms of targets and achievements. That give me a clear idea of where am I in terms of numbers and how much I need to achieve.
Connected Planning at Its Best—Fast, Seamless Model Updates
What do you like best about the product?
The part I like about Anaplan the most is CONNECTED PLANNING at its best. Due to its hyper engine, everything is connected such that one change is easily transmitted to the whole model.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like is that it is too expensive for the mid market, but that is partially understandable since it is an enterprise software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Financial Planning, Consolidation.

What do you like best about the product?
Anaplan is an extremely powerful and flexible tool allowing for the ability to model out any business use case.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of the system is the biggest downside to Anaplan.

Anaplan solves our daily liquidity modeling ensuring quality and accuracy of all calculations.
Flexible, Business-Friendly Connected Planning with an Outstanding API
What do you like best about the product?
Anaplan is very flexible. It is designed for the business and easily owned by the business which reduces the learning curve. The Anaplan API is outstanding allowing data integration from many sources. It is a true connected planning platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
New features are sometimes slow to be released even after being promised a feature by a certain deadline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Anaplan is used for FP&A planning. We use it for Consolidations of Plan (with FX and eliminations), planning of SG&A by cost center, and planning by channel (Direct, Wholesale, & Web). We plan the full P&L by each channel at a store or partner level. We also use Anaplan for robust reporting.
Easy Navigation and Visibility Noted in Supply Chain Use Case with Anaplan
What do you like best about the product?
Anaplan can be used for multi-dimensional data. Anaplan provides better visibility of data to users on the NUX dashboards. It looks very easy and fancy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires a good amount of knowledge to use the pre-defined functions. High license costs for Anaplan users.

MANY USERS FIND ANAPLAN USER-FRIENDLY INTERFACE EASY TO USE, WITH AN INTUITIVE DESIGN THAT SIMPLIFIES THE PLANNING PROCESS.

WHILE MANY FIND THE PLATFORM USER-FRIENDLY, SOME USERS HAVE NOTED THAT THE INTERFACE CAN BE COMPLEX, AND NOT VERY INTUITIVE, PARTICULARLY FOR NEW USERS.

ANAPLAN ALLOWS USERS FLEXIBILITY AND CUSTOMIZATION TO CREATE TAILORED SOLUTIONS THAT ADAPT TO DIVERSE BUSINESS NEEDS WITHOUT EXTENSIVE CODING.
Highly Flexible, Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Anaplan is a cloud-based hyper platform that is primarily used to connect enterprise-wide planning across finance, sales, HR, and supply chain. It solves the issue of disconnected planning by unifying finance and sales which I find really helpful. I appreciate the ability to align high-level strategic planning with detailed operational planning, which allows for flexible modeling users can utilize for a repository for master data and planning. I find balancing data with security to ensure scalability is beneficial. I also use it with ETL tools and BI tools, which works well for my needs. The initial setup was highly flexible, albeit with a high learning curve. I would definitely recommend Anaplan to a friend or colleague as I would rate it a 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find issues with insufficient model design and poor maintenance of browser network. There's also a need to restart my machine and re-authenticate into Anaplan, which can be frustrating. Balancing data with security to ensure scalability also seems to be a challenge. Additionally, while Anaplan is highly flexible, there's a high learning curve.

Anaplan solves disconnected planning by unifying finance and sales, aligning high-level strategic and detailed operational planning, and offering flexible modeling for master data and planning.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Anaplan for forecasting. It works so effortlessly, making the process smooth and efficient. The initial setup was very easy, which added to the convenience.

I find the user friendliness lacking.

Depending on how the models are built, it can be super slow during busy times with many users to refresh data.
