What do you dislike about the product?
Not part of the MS suite like most of my other work tools
Hard to learn and must know how to code or really unferstand business requirements to create an effective dashboard or visualization
Lack of easy way to group and segment access to different apps and business areas
Lack of someone or something to lay out an organizational vision to set yourself up for success using QlikSense within your organization. Need a very personal custom fit that only works in non de-centralized governance structures in the workplace which doesn't always exist thus these efforts, despite Qlik's best efforts, may not work because collectively it is difficult to get an organization to recognize and focus on the group effort it would take to successfully implement such a solution here.

What do you dislike about the product?
Still requires coding to customize options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large amounts of data that needs to be displayed in a table format. Loads fast and seems to be very intuitive.
QlikView was just magic. QikSense is great !

A good cloud platform
What do you like best about the product?
No software installation. One can start in 10 min.

The cloud platform user experience for payment, user creation etc is pretty bad. The design needs to be significantly improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pharma ceutical problems. Quick development of our demos.
A solid and functional BI tool that is improving
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to get started. Users like the app in an enterprise setting.
When using other Qlik products they integrate well.
If you are a View environment and want to move to a more user friendly self service environment this would be a good migration.
The road map is solid, if you can be patient and update constantly Qlik has a good plan.
Mobile integration is solid.
On the admin side, server management is great, I would rate it better than several other tools I have used. User management is great.

What do you dislike about the product?
Half baked features. Work in process tool improvements that could make life easier but seemingly feel abandoned.
Not using SQL/Data standards for customizing and shaping your data in app is frustrating. Set analysis and the methods for shaping data are not intuitive.
Too much reliance on integration of other Qlik tools.
nPrinting is a terrible solution.
Version control is terrible unless you invest in another Qlik tool.
Too much reliance on extensions, and the official Qlik Branch site for extensions is poorly maintained. Too much reliance on partner products for things that should just be in the app.
Barely any good documentation or up to date training books and or classes out side of the official Qlik ones.
Community feels very hit or miss, and many solutions provided require hard work arounds or are unusable in most environments.

Enterprise reporting and self service reporting. Users like having an enterprise tool accessed from any location that is easy to start on their app development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If are already a Qlik customer with View, Sense is a no brainer. It is easier to implement global self service and get end users up and running.
If using QVD files and other Qlik products it makes sense as well. Definitely test against all major BI tools. Sense has a place and is perfectly functional. Architectural review will be key to ensure performance, and user testing before making any decision as well. Ultimately I think a lot of the decision hinges on whether or not you are okay with reliance on extensions or want a totally out of the box solution. Sense is not 100% an out of the box solution, even if it is trending in that direction.

Good Visualization software. Needs more tutorials and access to basic software on Personal desktop.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy drag and drop features and easy to modify charts to own taste.
What do you dislike about the product?
Software needs to be available for personal download, even if basic to look at code posted on help site. I currently can't see codes or examples on Qlik help site as I use Qlik in cloud and no way to download to cloud.
Needs even more flexibility with charts and options(like bar and line charts on same graph).

Good Visualization software. Will improve over time but good for basic function.
Qlik Sense Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik Sense allows users to build dashboard fairly quickly to visualize data and identify trends. It was easy to collaborate with others when creating dashboards prior to publishing too.

The formulas available to calculate projections were not as robust as some other tools we have tested.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Qlik Sense enabled me to share budget vs. actual cost comparisons with department managers as well as show invoicing trends by product and region
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to survey your teams to understand the usage needs. Don't wait for dashboard to be perfect to start analyzing - going through the iterations is a constructive process.
