A great tool that is left behind in the race
What do you like best about the product?
Qlikview is a robust platform to can manage Data intake at a large scale and process it without lag. It has an inbuilt ETL feature which makes it a complete tool

Qlikview takes time to learn. It is not business user friendly.
Visualizations is not as good as other tools.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Qlikview takes time and is dependent of the IT/Analyst to create the reports.
However, it is robust and designed to handle large volumes of Data.

What do you like best about the product?
Qlik gives me the ability to manipulate my data fairly easily. Once you learn the ins and outs of the load script, scripting is very powerful.
Qlik also has a really helpful and responsive support community. You can post questions and the community usually answers within a few hours.

What do you dislike about the product?
Qlik Sense feels like it's still a work in progress because bugs are frequent and rather annoying. Every month or two, something that was previously working just stops, and I assume that this is due to inadequately-tested code pushes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Qlik Sense for data analytics. (Go figure!) Before we adopted Qlik a few years ago, our primary source for generating data insights was Excel, so Qlik was a huge step up for us. Qlik has given us the ability to connect our reports directly to our database and refresh them on regular intervals. It's super easy to create a wide variety of charts to generate insights.

Qlik Sense is a powerful tool Business Users can create Self Serve Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik Sense is an intuitive reporting tool which allows business users to self serve and create their own reports. The charts, graphs and other analytic tools are straightforward to create. Traditional Excel users will find Qlik Sense and easy transition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the data is a key component in a successful experience for Business Users. The scripting language is a steep learning curve and manipulating the data can be complicated. Personally, I'm coming from a Qlikview background and I find creating complicated charts and graphs unavailable in Qlik Sense. There is less customization, but that's the trade off with an easier to create UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Qlik Sense for regular scheduled reporting and some user ad-hoc reporting. It's much more efficient to have sales managers log into Qlik Sense and look at their data then emailing out a daily Excel sheet. It also gives regional managers a overview of how all sales are doing in their respected regions and allows them to perform simple analysis of each territories sales. Qlik Sense has saved a lot of time for IT, reporting analyst, and sales managers.

This is a great tool if you have the need for Business Users to create self serve dynamic reporting.

Well-positioned BI Tool in the market, rapid changes to the product and frequent launches are obvious indication of the competitive mindset of the company. Support team and quality can be improved further.

Having a compiler outside the Qliksense would be helpful, something like having a VS code extension to compile scripts, Debugging is hard on QlikScripts when we have large numbers of scripts to handle, having a tool that is compelling and pointing out the issue ahead of time like a normal development environment would really help. Documentation is very shall need good documentation, most of the documentation will not give the full picture, and to reach out support on trivial things. Inbuilt git support is missing, which really difficult to version control. CI/CD pipeline is missing need to depend on third-party or need to buy additional components, which sometimes not needed on for certain organizations.
