Less stress around file transfers
What do you like best about the product?
It took a messy, manual process and made it feel steady. We used to rely on scripts and constant check-ins, now workflows just run in the background. I like that both technical and non-technical people on my team can use it without much friction. The security piece also gives me some peace of mind since we deal with client data all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it connected more easily with the other tools we use. Getting everything integrated still takes some effort. I also end up recreating similar setups for client deliveries, so a few more ready-made templates would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It replaced a messy mix of scripts and manual uploads that we constantly had to double-check. Now everything runs through structured workflows, so we’re not babysitting transfers anymore. It saves time, reduces errors, and honestly just makes the whole process feel a lot less stressful.
Organized, Reliable File Transfers with Real-Time Monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
I deal with a lot of inbound and outbound file transfers, and this tool helps keep everything organized. I can set up recurring jobs, monitor transfers in real time, and quickly check logs when something doesn’t go through. It supports multiple protocols like SFTP and AS2, so working with different partners is straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of time to get used to how workflows are structured, especially when handling multiple transfer scenarios. The interface is functional, but it could be smoother when navigating between jobs and logs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handling large volumes of files manually or through basic FTP tools made tracking difficult and increased the chances of missed transfers. With GoAnywhere, everything is scheduled, logged, and monitored in one system. It also retries failed connections and keeps detailed records, which makes it easier to confirm delivery and resolve issues faster.
Structured, Secure File Workflows with Helpful Scheduling and Alerts

I like that it brings structure to how files move across systems. Instead of relying on different tools, we can define workflows, set schedules, and get alerts if something doesn’t run as expected. It also supports secure protocols and encryption, which helps us protect sensitive data without adding extra tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to fully understand how to organize workflows efficiently, especially when dealing with multiple teams. The interface is stable but not very modern, and reviewing large sets of logs can sometimes feel slow.

Automation has simplified secure file transfers and supports smooth team workflows
What is our primary use case?
For GoAnywhere MFT, we have explored some of the connectors like Salesforce and SharePoint. In our case, we used it for most of the basic integrations, not the very advanced ones, so it was quite easy for us.
What is most valuable?
The automation of GoAnywhere MFT is the best thing about it. The interface of this software is also really easy to use for me and my teammates.
It really helps us transfer files within our organization really securely and automates the whole process for us, which makes it really easy.
What needs improvement?
It takes a little time to understand all of the workflow, and it has a bit of a learning curve, even with the easy interface. When we were trying to set up the software at the start, it took us a few days, and it was a bit complex initially for me.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working here for more than two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I have never seen a lag or crash type issue.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
For scalability, GoAnywhere MFT is quite scalable. We do not require it to be scaled at a very large amount, so it is not an issue for us, but I think that it is quite scalable. We have never thought about scaling it.
How are customer service and support?
The experience was quite good and helpful. They were able to resolve the issue in a reasonable time.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup took us quite a few days in our case, but we did not require a big team. Initially, we had two to three people involved in this for the setup and the testing of it repeatedly.
What other advice do I have?
Regarding agents, we are aware of this feature and have used it in a very limited way for running tasks on remote systems. We have not used this heavily, so it is not useful where direct connectivity is not possible.
I have not used this specific feature in my use case.
I have heard of it, and I guess it is for when you want to transfer your data extremely fast, but I have not used it and have not needed it.
The maintenance is quite low because once we have set up all the transfers and everything is in place, maintenance is only minimal, so that is not an issue for me. I would rate this product an 8 out of 10.
