Every day at 6:00 AM, GoAnywhere MFT automatically pulls the CSV file from the vendor's SFTP server, validates the file, encrypts it using the stored PGP keys, moves it to the internal folder, uploads it to the ERP and SAP system, and sends a success or failure email to the respective team. It logs everything, so audit compliance is maintained. Previously, we were performing manual labor, but now it is all run on one automated workflow.

These are the main strong points in the way that it has impacted me positively. GoAnywhere MFT provides stronger security for sensitive data, allowing us to encrypt files based on the critical severity of the data and decrypt files based on our requirements. Whenever required, with the help of encryption, we can pull the data or automatically send the data to the user. Centralized monitoring allows us to see what is happening with the data, how it is being accessed, and who is accessing it.

Overnight jobs that were previously required due to manual work are eliminated, and removing manual work has saved eight to ten hours per week that the user or administrator can focus on other tasks. The second benefit is error reduction. Manual transfer errors have been reduced by 70 to 90%. While doing manual transfers, there may be mistakes such as files uploaded from another folder or files downloaded from the wrong location, but because of GoAnywhere MFT, these manual errors are reduced by 70 to 90%. Missed file pickups are almost eliminated. Some files may have been missed by administration previously, but because of GoAnywhere MFT, no files are missed.
