Love GoAnywhere!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the stability and reliability of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the errors are not too easy to diagnose on an end-users side. However, the GoAnywhere support is very helpful!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can securely schedule our file transfers and retrieve files using wildcards at specific times of the day/week.
Very satisfied with GoAnywhere over the competitors.
What do you like best about the product?
Maintaining users and groups is ver easy and robust.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't really have any downsides other than allowing some firewall rules for security was a little over my head.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
FTP is very useful for transferring large files between different entities.
Most intuitive product for a technical as well as non-technical team.

Ease of connecting various systems, Excel and CSV operations, REST API connectors
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of single sign on (ability to open multiple tabs) and lack of page updates without refreshes (AJAX)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting that requires pulling data from multiple DBs, Excel report formatting, secure forms, external API for secure forms. SQL operations and script executions. Location monitors are also beneficial.

Cloud Connectors and the various resources available
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensing model can be improved by packaging it.

Easy of Integration with Cloud-Based Connector

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, especially for just FTP(non EDI) applications. The product is very stable and does not go down. Upgrades which we had 3-4 are just a breeze. Key management is very easy to use and can be done with beginner level.
What do you dislike about the product?
IDE is still a browser and no hooks to code repository. Cron scheduler expressions would be nice in the future and more robust transformation or language like scala would be awesome. Dynamic(in memory) rowset creation would really help with transformation as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We took out all file, FTP,SFTP transfers project from Mulesoft and never looked back. GoAnawhere is made for this reason and best in class. We also heavily utilizing the scheduler as we had historically had issue with Mulesoft cluster and pollers/scheduler on a broken cluster is a recipe for disaster. Mulesoft is now API based mirco services invoked by MFT schedulers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best part is pertetual license model. Buy once and just yearly support which is a small price to pay for ROI.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for automation of routines. The full feature set provided by the system is world-class, and supporting the system from an SRE perspective is a breeze. Support has always been fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features require additional licensing or infrastructure to be provisioned. Large projects can be difficult to reverse engineer without good documentation from your developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All things data are run through MFT. Automating push/pulls of files over SFTP, running automated database queries, generating flat file exports for ingest into downstream systems, and hitting application REST URIs to kick off processes in an automated fashion.
GoAnywhere - Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
We were able to seamlessly convert from our previous SFTP product, as GoAnywhere allowed us to import all of our User ID's. It took a little while to understand how to build the automated scripts to process incoming files, but we received a fair amount of training and hands-on consulting to get us going. Now that we have all of our scripts written, our process has dramatically improved!
What do you dislike about the product?
The MFT code can be a little difficult to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The manual process we used to perform to decrypt files and move them to their proper location was painful. This has now happens instantly! It saves both time as well as lessens mistakes.
Straight Forward and Useful MFT Service
What do you like best about the product?
The management console allows for precise, granular access to the MFT product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gateway configuration and changes are not necessarily intuitive.

Centralized control of MFT processes for application use.

I like the dashboard the best. It is so easy to get where you need to be and laid out and organized well.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really is nothing that I dislike about the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is nice to have a secure way to share data that may have PHI in it. It takes all the worry out of how to get stuff where it needs to be and you can get a new user added and share data with them within 5 minutes which is very benificial.

What do you like best about the product?
Natively support dozens of data transfer protocols, and with advanced workflows has become a single point solution for all data movement. The product remains current, with new features and upgrades published regularly. Additionally, plugins available for purchase support advanced cloud computing. The software is managed via an easily navigable GUI, and workflows are built using a drag and drop interface. The product can easily be clustered to provide load balancing and failover support for mission-critical transfers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the number of upgrades and new features being developed, the wait time for a requested update or a new feature can be quite long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have combined all of our file transfers into a single integrated solution with central administration. Using advanced workflows we can deliver files to multiple backend systems with positive delivery confirmation and a central archive. GoAnywhere MFT has reduced support effort from separate legacy methods by more than 70%.
