What do you like best about the product?

Long wait for it to be usable, but worth it

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to switch between SQL and ETL depending on what my needs are. I really love using workbench. Graphs available to use are great, and building dashboards and cards is really easy. Once the data is cleaned it doesn't take much effort to make something nice and functional, which I love! It takes a lot to get started if you have data like we do, but the effort is totally worth it in the end.
What do you dislike about the product?
Waited months for our connector to be updated even though we were told the connector would be up to date (was about 3 years out of date). Couldn't really use DOMO for over half a year until that was fixed, which was frustrating. Have to pull literally every single field in using the connector so editing it can be time consuming, but at least it is fairly easy to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use DOMO for every aspect of our business, from procurement to sales to logistics/ops. It's great to pull the data in one single location and have the tools to manipulate data so quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your main connector is up to date and working before you sign on.

What do you like best about the product?
We are able to marry multiple data sources to tell the full, true story of our ROI. We have turned what used to be a Frankenstein of reports with no insight, into visual dashboards that enable us to make actionable decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I understand the Data Flows in theory, but they're harder to implement in practice. I still need to include our development team for most of our data configuring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to see the recruiting retention rate, sales lifecycle, and user journey. It has helped us see how all operations contribute to the bottom line.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to align all business units because everyone is seeing the same set of data.

The data can some time be uncomfortable when it is telling a negative story or showing how poor the data condition is

What do you like best about the product?
Quick value after just a few weeks of getting set up. We could quickly and easily marry marketing data from multiple sources to easily see what channels were working and what channels weren't.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Other departments in my company have interest and are asking if we can implement for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
marketing metrics, marketing operational metrics and productivity metrics.

What do you like best about the product?
Domo has a low barrier of entry for development skills. Entry level developers with SQL and visualization skills can jump in to the platform and start developing within weeks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the governance components. There is too much freedom for people to move/copy and destroy existing infrastructure. Some more rules and policies would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to have more parts of the business know more about their environment. We have realized a much faster development cycle, and a truly agile development timeline.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy visualizations that quickly communicate data to those outside of marketing. Everyone can understand how our business is doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything in particular. Everything has been pretty great so far!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to spend all day building/updating graphs in excel! And then when I want to present data, I can easily export a slide deck. Our CEO also loves it because I can build her customized dashboards that show her exactly the data she wants to see on a daily basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do all of the online training! It makes the learning curve considerably easier to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that with Domo you are able to track, visualize, and transform large amounts of data. It makes what would otherwise be a daunting task seamless. The possibilities are endless. I also enjoy that it challenges me to create new ways to visualize data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only dislike I have are certain limitations I've ran into with beast modes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am allowed to keep track of large amounts of data that would otherwise be daunting and put the department behind schedule.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to log into my dashboards and see exactly what is going on with the business. The alert feature is also super useful in keeping everyone on the team updated on changes in business performance
What do you dislike about the product?
Data set failures are sometimes hard to catch when the API connector or data warehouse queries don't function properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data aggregation and visualization to enable our team to spend more time analyzing the trends in the data and less time pulling data. Also aiming for wide adoption of Domo implementations that internal clients can have access to to monitor the parts of the business they are responsible for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compatibility with existing data systems and how to integrate with Domo
