Cutting-Edge Tools and Features That Keep Us Ahead
What do you like best about the product?
Cutting edge tools and features combined with learning curve and deployment speed
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite a few bugs which take a long time to resolve. Limited support online for some features and training materials are often out of date due to product development and changes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complex and highly customised analytics can be created, validated and deployed very quickly. The new automation features are a game changer
Speedy Insights but Needs UI Overhaul
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Domo makes time to insight faster, which is really helpful for working efficiently
What do you dislike about the product?
The demo UI is quite dated, and there are frequent caching issues. The SQL report writing capabilities are lacking, specifically because there is no built-in SQL interpreter in the report writer. Additionally, the process of building dashboards is quite cumbersome, and the user experience for nesting and organizing dashboards is poor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo lets me access data without needing the analytics team, making time to insight faster.
Easy to Use with a Plethora of Tools
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is the ease of use and the number of features domo offers
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much downside to things, the only thing that i've run into is just not every feature i've wanted not being available yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My job as an analyst is made infinitly easier with Domo. Using the ETL, Visualization, and Governance
Intuitive for Quick Simple Powerful Reporting, but Complex Needs are Hard to Support
What do you like best about the product?
domo is extremely intuitive for new BI platform users. you can easily stand up a small reporting cycle without knowing the platform in a single day
What do you dislike about the product?
the abstraction of no-code greatly limits the ability to improve or enhance processes. the more complex reporting architecture and needs suddenly become massive complicated and are no longer intuitive and there are not nearly enough resources available between both Domo, Inc and the community to be able to help support and troubleshoot/instruct
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
domo does a lot for us, centralizes business logic and produces reporting and visualization, it's also being considered for AI platform uses since many of our users are familiar with Domo versus a 3rd party AI platform that is a bit distanced from our business logic and data.
Easy to Use with Simple, Smooth Management
What do you like best about the product?
Its ease of use and straightforward management make it possible to quickly analyze a wide variety of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can become overutilized and bloated with datasets and cards very quickly if not properly managed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Domo for pure business intelligence, AI workflows, and data automation between various systems. It's used to help feed important data across the various departments in our organization.
Robust Features, Needs More Visualization Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I like the breadth of Domo's features and their cohesiveness, yet simplicity. It's amazing that entry-level marketing analysts and data scientists can all work in the same tool. Magic ETL is huge for us as it allows us to simply transform data in the ways we need for reporting. I appreciate that workflows are becoming a more important component, enabling us to automate tasks and take more control of our instance. Once we had access to Domo, I found it really easy to get data in and start building things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more flexibility out of the box with visualization. The ability to size cards to any size and place cards anywhere without having to follow locking grid patterns.

Domo helps us access data quickly and adapt in a changing landscape. It combines feature breadth, simplicity, and caters to various expertise levels. Magic ETL simplifies data transformation, and workflows automate tasks, enhancing our control.
Easy to Learn and Use—Up and Running Quickly with DOMO University
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and learn. I did several courses in DOMO university and was up and running pretty quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating beast modes or calculations it will tell you that there was an error in the formula or syntax but does not help on how to fix it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me create a one stop shop for data and visualization for planning and decision making.
Powerful KPI Insights with Flexible Metric Views
What do you like best about the product?
Domo has so many options for viewing different metrics and KPI's that really gives good insight into the core business resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of data that appears on some screens can be overwhelming to parse out and learn what to look for, but I don't know if that's a Domo thing or just the way our corporate managers have set it up specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is particularily helpful in determining job costs and margins and where there may be problems or issues in production.
Domo from a Transitioning Career Perspective
What do you like best about the product?
Great environment as someone switching careers from design into a data-centric position. I've learned so much about data wrangling, data transformation, and really been able to enhance my design skills through the data visualization tools available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transitioning our non-profit instance into a consumption-based model has been a bit rough. Conversations with staff have flip-flopped across several different people and it's a bit anxiety-inducing as our current contract is coming up. We don't have large staff so as much as I like using the product, this potential transition is scary, especially if we can't renew our contract as a result of increased cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a great way to join data from multiple platforms, big and small. We're able to reconcile data between platforms, visualize data, and have real time updates for our users.
Simplifies Data Integration, Easy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
Getting up and running within Domo is quite easy, and I appreciate their low or no code options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some connectors are not as robust as needed. Some do not pull in all the data.

Domo improves visibility and centralizes data from various platforms, making setup easy with low or no code options.
