DOMO is the way to GO
What do you like best about the product?
Domo is a great robust solution to help all of your business needs. It's very user friendly which is good since I support my end users from an IT perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that i found that I dislike. With Domo's continuous great customer support they are always helpful on answering any of my questions and concerns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to simplify how our end users get the data they need. With Domo, they are able to achieve the results they need fast.
A great experience
What do you like best about the product?
Visualizations are crisp and clean. Data management is moderately intuitive. Buzz makes it easy to communicate across groups and with Domo Support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing multiple data sets from a security and provisioning aspect can be cumbersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick access to reports are easiest with Domo. We can quickly solve data issues as we don't often need to involve a developer and slate work across a sprint timeline.
Great product, even greater potential
What do you like best about the product?
ability to consolidate data in one place - blending too
What do you dislike about the product?
still growing, room for improvement in many areas to be even more versatile and powerful (mysql, beast mode)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blending datasources from various sources to get even more powerful insights
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be ready fro immediate results, but a slowing curve when getting into more complex ground
Love it!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Domo handles data extraction, storage, and SQL. They make it very easy to set up automated datafeeds that can then be combined by a knowledgeable user. It has a wide variety of pre-built connections to APIs and so we don't have to worry about maintaining those connections in house.
The customer service is great. The support team is very responsive. They are very rapidly developing their products and are very open to incorporating customer feedback in order to build new features and improve the current set-up.
I also like that they've added the ability to teams to create custom-dashboard builds.
Lastly, there are various tiers of expertise that make Domo accessible to users with differing skillsets.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Domo data visualizations are not as sophisticated as Tableau. There is less control over the appearance and formatting of dashboards. in addition there is no way to host the Domo visualizations on our custom sites. For example, I'd like to have charts that adhere to the small multiples.
in addition, Domo can't handle the same volume of data as Tableau.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easier to share dataflows across teams. Enables the automation of routine analytical tasks in order to free up analysts for actual analysis.
Consolidates analysis in one very accessible place.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use a trial period! Identify the data sources you need and whether Domo has existing data connectors for those.
Great for BI Starters
What do you like best about the product?
I am not a pro at SQL or analytics but Domo makes it easy for me to work with my data sets no matter where they're stored. Almost all of the software that we use from each department has a connector and if it doesn't Domo has ways to work around it. The Magic ETL tool has helped me to merge together data sets and find patterns that we wouldn't have been to analyze otherwise. Above all, the customer support team here is the BEST that i have ever worked with. These people know what they're talking about and on multiple occasions have gone above and beyond to accomplish what I needed. I've never had a poor experience with support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's supposedly expensive but I wasn't on that part of the decision pool ;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've gained insights that've helped us make better decisions.
Helps me stay on track
What do you like best about the product?
I love having visibility into my sales numbers. It's also a great sales tool to show customers what kind of data we collect
What do you dislike about the product?
Cards are created by our sales administratior - I wish I was trained on how to do it myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clients think it so cool what we can do with our data
Easy to connect multiple data sources, make quick scorecards
What do you like best about the product?
Domo is NOT a BI tool that has to be managed and run by IT, average business users can create their own cards and actually manipulate the data
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, our issues have been more with getting people to actually view/use the cards, which needs to be driven by upper management
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple ERP systems, SF.com, supplier database tools, etc. We wanted to get one source of truth dashboards for business reviews, Domo allowed us to do that. This has driven less power points, less excel spreadsheets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you only pay for users that will actually use the tool, seats are expensive so make sure you are driving adoption.
User friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Gives us enhanced reporting over what we get natively, with intuitive charts and graphs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. We limit our users to only a few people, so it's possible user licenses are expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More detailed insight into EVERYTHING we want to track.
Excellent hands-on onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
Domo is pretty intuitive to use if you know the basics of pivot tables. Visualizations look really crisp and modern. Their onboarding and support team is awesome as they spent a lot of time with us to connect our data and build out an initial set of reports that we could actually use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to do simple re-ordering. We use it for sales/marketing lead reporting, but it orders labels alphabetically. In order to re-order, you need to create some additional "beastmode" calculations to create new labels with numbers pre-pended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have data in a few different places (Salesforce, Marketo, product DB, and Desk.com among others) We're able to easily bring them together with common key fields and have a better understanding of our prospects and customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Garbage In, Garbage Out. So make sure your data is cleanest at the source.
Great visualization tool
What do you like best about the product?
Connects to a large number of data sources. As part of a large organization, we have many different data sources and it seems DOMO can talk to them all, a rarity in my experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like better explanations when an error occurs. They tend to be a bit vanilla that basically just say you can't do what you are trying to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DOMO gives everyone a unified view of our data, rather than numbers of dollars, sites, interactions, etc. changing with whoever is creating the report.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Identify the few key areas you want to focus on first, get those smooth and everyone comfortable with them, then expand.
