Fantastic Build and Integration Tool

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that once my build is setup it just works. It's easy to add custom configurations.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be a little faster, but the tests take up most of the time. I could speed things up if I spend some time optimizing tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CI and building images for our GCP deployments

What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
We have experienced some UI bugs but have ben solved very fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seamless integration with private cloud resources.

Amazin tool for an amazin team!

  • July 29, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We deploy two countries with Codefresh.
It's very easy to play with it to deploy in Kubernetes and Helm clusters.
He helps use to manage some Helm release in our cluster easily.
We love the powerful system of pieplines.

It's possible to create a global pipeline to trigger some others pipelines.
For example ; we have a French and a Spanish countries and when we want to deploy on each countries, we just trigger the global pipeline that triggers parallelly the two others, FR and ES.

All of our pipelines are stored in a Git repository and it's easy to manage pipelines.
We have a trigger on each pipeline to re run the jobs when the pipeline is changed.
What do you dislike about the product?
A simple clean dashboard to rollback for our developpers.

Because, the view to rollback is very complex for a bew young developper.

I think that a simple button to rollback is no a very feature to add to Codefresh because this feature aleardy exists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We love our CI part but unfortunately for the CD part we had nothing... Until the amazing was Codefresh arrive!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Let's go guys! It's an amazin tool and I'm sure that you're not disappointed.

The tool is fun and cool and the team is very acceccible.

I recommend because even the pricing is fair. The platform is stable and we had never problem.

The system of mounting file or directory is a very good and practice idea.

Works well most of the time

  • July 29, 2020

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of freedom to define steps in a pipeline, easy to create alerts, good integrations (github, slack). Can reuse pipeline definitions through YAML specs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasional failures can interrupt vital CI/CD pipelines. Sometimes steps fail without a clear cause, restarting them seems to work but false negatives can cause distraction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CI/CD pipelines scale seamlessly. Once you're set up, it's extremely easy to add new projects and different types of pipelines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A definite improvement over a self-hosted automation solution. Lots of flexibility, good documentation ant out-of-the-box integrations.

Codefresh enabled us to be very flexible and adaptable with our pipeline setup and processes.

  • July 22, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Codefresh doesn't have a single way of setting up the CI. You can set it up and get it running how you want, you can run steps in parallel, or you can run them synchronously, or you can do both. You can trigger other pipelines from the current pipeline and act on their success or failure status.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only self-hosted runner option requires kubernetes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving our need for a robust and flexible CI/CD pipeline. We got this happily from using codefresh.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CI, CD container registry, helm charts as well as Kubernetes management. Friendly UI and "one-stop-shop in general".

A Solid CI/CD Platform

  • July 21, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The code is, and I do not say this lightly, very fresh, and thus delivers on the name.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I could say that I dislike about CodeFresh, it's my reason for going to bed and night and my reason for getting up in the morning, it is my muse and it is my flame. What could be better?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a solid CI/CD platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just do it

The ease in building and using containers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web interface is a little too fast to push you to upgrade to larger instances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to build and test containers for a Kubernetes environment. We implemented easy to understand build scripts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Read the documentation on how to structure builds.
