Outstanding Performance with Simple, Easy-to-Use Design

The performance and simplicity of the tool.

Some prople might fibd it confusing but you just need to get used to it.

It helps setting up scalable load balancing solutions.

Works out of the box with little configuration. Does most of what we need.

Web interface is not as good as the cli.

Stable, Reliable, and a Joy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Stable and reliable solution, I love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
After moving our workloads to a GKE environment, it became easier to use the Istio proxy, while HAProxy was harder for us to adopt.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s easy to handle huge traffic, such as around 100k requests per second, on a selected bare-metal server.
Super Stable and Feature-Rich for Many Use Cases
What do you like best about the product?
Super stable, with a ton of features that fit a variety of different use cases. For us it worked well for 200k+ connections
What do you dislike about the product?
We ran into a few hiccups in the past, but they’ve since been resolved. For example, gRPC handling didn’t used to work well, but that has now been fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handling load balancing and api management for around 100 services, millions of connections in total, 120k/s rate

It’s simple to use, very effective and functional

SSO SAML / OIDC is not free to use and not in the community version

I like that HAProxy is really helping us with scaling use cases pretty well. I appreciate its ease of use, and the initial setup was easy.
