Fast and minimal operating system for software developers
What do you like best about the product?
The minimalistic user interface and the open source community who are ready to help when we face any issues with Ubuntu.
What do you dislike about the product?
No drivers available for my amd r5 m430 graphics card. The bluetooth connection is a bit buggy at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Ubuntu as my day to day operating system. I use it for software development, watching movies, as well as for my university online classes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do try to use a custom shell and use zsh and oh my zsh for the terminal.

It's largest community where we have answers for every problem. Large set or developer across from the world with different mind sets. It will result in new ides from everyone which will make ubuntu more Powerful

There are lot of distros in linux. Which will make more confusing personally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is most useful for system administration, networking and for its tools. And most importantly it's terminal with lot of features we can handle if we are good in command line.
Very efficient for development

When i did development in this os. I foumd out it is very efficient os for python development. It is very easy with no other os error while development and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Software installation in os system. Need prior knowledge to use terminal for installation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Python is inbuild in os. So I am using ubuntu os for project development and testing purpose. Also it is very helpful while connect to server. We don't need to install third part app for it.

ubuntu has all the features just similar to other paid operating systems.budget friendly secure,user friendly platform,easy to use.can be trained for students as they have both user friendly gui and terminal(command line) services.it comes with pre installed games and applications.even the ubuntu software centre(which is the market to download applications or games consist of large amount of open source tools which can be hepful for let it be organization or personal use of schools).

it has around 50 languages support. I checked many os for review as i need to select one of the best OS for my entreprise. compared ubuntu with other operating systems and found ubuntu is the best.

NA but I need to say that if your going to use ubuntu you should have patience to learn it.

I am using the Ubuntu for my development purpose in embedded system, for board bring activity's and kernel compilations, networking, writing code for embedded boards in C.

It's not good for beginners as it doesn't have good GUI.

The look and feel of the OS can be a lot better when compared to Operating Systems like Window and Mac OS.

There are other Linux variants to consider, like Kubuntu.
But I've had a really good experience with Ubuntu for many years and will highly recommend for any one trying to have a go with Linux.
