What do you dislike about the product?
The only drawback I can see, that if are a non-tech person. then it won't be easy for you to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Ubuntu for day to day work including software development and programming.

I love how I can manage and access everything from the temrinal. Very easy to write programs. Very easy to handle and hace a nice support team. Easy to setup and gain experience. Easy to understand the file handling and storage mechanism and get a hands on really soon.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to install regular entertainment applications and a small difficulty with some regular file extensions not being supported by Ubuntu. Also I have to keep switching to Windows inorder to access some files. Difficult to download torrents and certain file extensions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Ubuntu for almost everything except downloading torrents for which I have to switch back to windows. Since I use Windows-Linux dual booted machine, I need to keep switching from one os to the other to access some files but its overall amazing. I love how I can operate almost everything from the terminal. I use it for college work, programming, designing, prodyction & testing, entertainment, Libre office and other work tools provided by plasma, kde and ubuntu.

User frinedly and ssh works great for Ubuntu
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is very user friendly and various tools are available like putty to do ssh to Ubuntu from windows and work efficiently in very less bandwidth also.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing major so far. Only issue if you mess with your python2 and python3 packages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kernel development.
Good first taste of Linux
What do you like best about the product?
The operating systems are very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their operating systems are slowly becoming bloated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coding and security duties.
Ubiquitous for a reason
What do you like best about the product?
The nearly endless customization options that exist for Linux distros in general is just mind-blowing. Coming from Windows, it was very much like switching from an iPhone to Android. Similar but not at all the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that it were easier to set up things to run automatically, you're in full control of your system (which is amazing), but at the same time...YOU are in full control (meaning you have to do everything). I also wish it were possible to dial back on the security and incessant password entering and re-entering. Most people are using Ubuntu as a single user on a personal computer, so all the levels of user permissions and whatnot are just unnecessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I switched to Ubuntu from a lifetime on Windows mainly to see what all the fuss was about. People either love linux, or they hate it, and I just wanted to give it a go. I still haven't switched back to windows, and I've learned SO MUCH about how computers and software work just by hacking away and tweaking my system to my liking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be ready to dig in to obscure forum posts and spending many many hours googling solutions to your problems or questions. Good news is that there are a million resources out there to help. Bad news is...that also means that there are a million different answers to the same problem, and none of them are wrong.
Best OS

It is available free of cost. It is really good in terms of community support, Battery lifetime, Overall performance. It is easy to use. In the 20.0.1 LTS version, GUI has been improved a lot. We can use the Try Ubuntu option to recover any storage device.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike at all for me. But yes, there are some issues if we want a dual boot.

I have been using this as a software developer. The foremost benefit is strong community.

Ubuntu is an widely used Operation System used by the developers to develop many Software. The best thing that I like about Ubuntu that it is open source. Anyone can easily manipulate the internal code of the OS and use it as he/she want. It is free from virus and free of cost. The User Interface of Ubuntu is very easy to use and Understand.
