Used to provide master data management solutions
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature of Reltio Cloud is the customization we can make in its functionality. The solution's match and merge engine is quite good, and we can customize it.
What needs improvement?
The solution's UI could be enhanced, and its record filtering could be expanded. A few functionalities should be added, like the dynamic population of attributes.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Reltio Cloud for more than three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
We face some stability issues, and the Reltio team constantly helps us eradicate those issues.
I rate the solution's stability an eight out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution's scalability is quite good. It can process huge volumes of data at a very reasonable throughput. It's pretty fast and reliable. More than 50 people utilize this tool in my organization. Apart from my organization, more than 500 clients work with Reltio Cloud.
How was the initial setup?
The solution's initial setup is pretty simple. We don't have to install anything because it's a cloud-based tool. The Reltio team handles all the installations. Reltio has a great support team that helps us in these situations, and they configure it on their end. It's a simple plug-and-play, where we can log in and start our business.
What other advice do I have?
The solution's data accuracy is quite good, and I rate it a nine out of ten. Reltio Cloud also helps us meet data compliance policies. I would recommend the solution to other users if their use case involves a master data management process. However, I would not recommend Reltio Cloud for data analysis.
The solution has a classic beginner tutorial, and anyone can use it. Reltio Cloud has integrated some AI capabilities in the management aspect, which gives us improved metrics and analysis reports of our data. However, the AI integration is not very extensive.
Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
Offers features that pinpoints locations with maps and provides reporting about data performance and completeness
What is our primary use case?
Mainly, Reltio Cloud is used to collaborate all the data from multiple sources and generate a single source of truth while keeping the lineage and historical changes within the system.
It also provides reporting about data performance and completeness.
What is most valuable?
From my experience with multiple tools, Reltio Cloud is more user-friendly and provides a good user experience when updating information or tracking lineage. It is the more efficient part.
It also has AddressDoctor, which pinpoints locations with maps. This feature is not available in Informatica, Stibo, or Profisee. That's something I found really good.
What needs improvement?
Until I work with a customer, I won't be able to recognize the performance regarding the integration of records, especially when records are coming in as a full load or a delta after an initial load. I have to check how it performs in the integration part when pushing the entire data into MDM. Most tools have a downside in this area.
So far, I have not faced any other problems regarding Reltio. I just did a certification and the provided hands-on exercises.
I didn't find anything concerning, but I would definitely want to use the AI features introduced in Reltio more. The Hands-on Lab in the certification allows you to try out certain AI features.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have used Reltio Cloud for around three months for certification and POCs, but not in a project yet.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
found it to be very stable. I see other tools coming up in the market, and Reltio is increasingly used by different companies. My friends have utilized it and say it is as stable as SAP.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
In my company in Germany, I have heard of four or five people using it. Among my acquaintances, around seven or eight friends have used Reltio in their day-to-day customer experiences. They told me about it, and I found it interesting. The foundation-level certification was free, so I started there.
I discovered that my company has a partnership with Reltio, so I could pursue more intermediate certifications. So far, I feel good about it, but there are still few customers using it.
Still there are less customers who use it, so I think the best approach is to have more consultants become partners or find more customers to use it. Showcasing it more in the market, on LinkedIn and other social media, would be a great start. There isn't much hype around Reltio compared to other tools with a wider customer reach.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have used Informatica for around six years and multiple projects, and I used Profisee in 2017-2018 for one customer.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I haven't looked at the pricing, but I know that SAP and Informatica are the costliest among MDMs. Their perpetual licenses are costly compared to Profisee or Stibo, but I have no idea about Reltio.
What other advice do I have?
It is very easy to learn. The learning curve is equal to Informatica. The MDM part is as easy as that. It's super easy to learn.
I would definitely recommend it. I would definitely recommend it an eight out of ten. I have not used it in real-time customer-facing parts, but with all the out-of-the-box abilities and facilities from Reltio, it definitely hits all the necessary or most important parts directly. You don't have to do anything. Sometimes, it's pre-coded, and sometimes, the coding or configuring is much simpler.
Provides good AI features, saves time, and the support team is responsive
What is most valuable?
I like the data quality feature. The solution saves 30% to 40% of our time. It is a low-code application.
What needs improvement?
The deployment is difficult. It takes time.

I have been using the solution for six months.

How are customer service and support?
The support team provides quick responses to our questions. All my doubts are cleared.
How was the initial setup?
I am using the cloud version of the tool. The deployment and configuration take a few days.
What other advice do I have?
The AI features are helpful. I do not have to go through the documentation much. I will recommend the product to others. People who want to use the tool can go through the modules and the documentation. They are very helpful. Overall, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.
Reltio Connected Data Platform
I like its UI, flexibility, security, scalability and its ease to assess the record.
Ready to use out-of-the-box, reducing the implementation time
What is our primary use case?
We have submitted requests on behalf of the customers to help them maintain master data by performing deduplication and assisting with their internal projects to develop a better data product.
What is most valuable?
The matching feature of Reltio Cloud is highly effective compared to many other tools available. Additionally, it is almost ready to use out-of-the-box, reducing the implementation time.
What needs improvement?
Whether we want to manage the data or not, Reltio Cloud allows us to onboard it seamlessly. Some features are more robust when exporting. Enhancements are needed to improve the system's capabilities in managing relationships. There is significant room for improvement in how relationships are viewed and managed. Reltio is a cloud-based graphical model, but enhancements in this area would be beneficial.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Reltio Cloud as a partner for over three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The product is highly stable.
I rate the solution’s stability an eight or nine out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The tool is suitable for enterprise businesses. We haven't faced issues with scalability. Scaling has different aspects. Sometimes, additional resources or funding are required. Scaling is not just a single step. If the process gets stuck, we need to involve the support team.
The solution’s scalability is good. I rate the solution’s scalability a four out of five.
How are customer service and support?
The technical support has improved quite a lot, but there is still scope for improvement.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is easy, but it must be done with an understanding of the business and proper configuration.
What other advice do I have?
The real-time data capabilities of Reltio Cloud are excellent. This is what people want and what businesses need. When a change is made or new customers are onboarded, the organization's deduplication and data sharing happens with fewer delays.
Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Best MDM tool I have come across
Reltio is very user friendly application in terms of master data management.
-> User friendly
-> Less bug
-> Quick service from Reltio Support upon any queries or platform issues.
-> Leading application in the MDM industry.
-> UI functionality speed should be improved.
-> UI search sometimes does not work properly.
-> The primary advantage is, it helps on making customer's life easy.
-> It does not crash even after a bulk load
For the future
Major stability and pageload problems
I don't know what the hell is going on in the backend, but the web UI falling over for very straightforward data entry tasks. Pageloads go to a crawl at 4pm ET; no one knows why (nightly cron jobs in China?). The data entry team goes home at 4pm, then works from home to finish their jobs after dark. It's not good.
