Streamlined Scheduling, Easy Setup

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Float.com because it serves as a singular place for our firm's general schedule, making it easy to see everyone's schedule at a glance without having to go to a lot of different places. I also appreciate its flexibility and ease of use. It's really easy to see and sort employees and schedules in many different ways with very little effort, and the initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting and exporting reports/information is not easy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Float.com to have a singular place for my firm's schedule, making it easy to see everyone's schedule at a glance and sort them effortlessly.

Steep Learning Curve and Usability Issues

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I guess I like that it's easy to log in through my Google, so I don't have to save another password.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like the tool. It's really hard to use, honestly. It's hard to understand what I'm allocated to for the week. It's hard for producers to actually input and move people's time allocations around. There's a steep learning curve to getting it to work the way we want. The data is never really trustworthy because it's always off. Getting reports has way too much information, and it's never in the format that I want. The calendar view is very hard to navigate and understand. It's not a good tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float.com helps us understand which resources are over or under-allocated and lets us track project health from a budget perspective.

Intuitive Project Tracking with Smooth Outlook Integration

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Float.com is fairly intuitive for my company to start using and it makes it easy for us to identify how we are using our time. With our different business fields and projects, it simplifies time allocation for tasks. It's also easier to understand how much time and budget each task takes in our broad and varied projects, helping us estimate where resources go.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do think sometimes the integration with Factorial does not work that well. Like, quite often, I log my time, and it's not immediately reflected on Factorial. And sometimes for days, So I guess I will look into that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Float.com to track projects and billable hours, eliminating manual tracking. It syncs with my Microsoft calendar, making it easy to manage resources and understand task time and budget usage.

Effortless Resource Planning with Intuitive Interface

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Float.com very clear and user-friendly, which makes it easy to use for resource planning. I appreciate being able to switch between different teams and departments easily, and having different categories for different types of absences is really helpful. The initial setup was easy and accessible, and I'm happy using Float.com for managing resources in a company with over 100 employees.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes, only it sometimes is a bit buggy when dragging projects across multiple people
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Float.com for resource planning to avoid overbooking or underutilizing team members.

Intuitive Time Tracking with Integration Hiccups

  • April 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the layout and design and colors and how easy it is to track the time, add a short description, and get a really great overview.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I synchronize my Outlook calendar with Float.com, I have to choose a default preset that tags the event. It's kind of annoying to change it repeatedly. I wish the system could recognize if it's a meeting or a marketing task and tag it accordingly. Also, syncing with Factorial sometimes doesn't work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float.com helps me track where I'm spending my time, differentiating tasks and providing a real-time view on actual versus perceived time spent.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple Float.com is, with moving bookings, adding placeholders, and changing time estimates all easily done by pointing, grabbing, and clicking. As a process tool, it allows me to spend less time on processes and more on actual project work, making handling bookings and tracking my work super quick and easy. The initial setup was super easy and hassle-free, which was great for my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to be able to integrate Float with Asana, where I manage my work, so it automatically copy bookings between those two tools.
