Float Review
What do you like best about the product?
Float is so simple and straight forward to use. It allows managers to keep track of the workflow and all team members are able to see what has been worked on as well as what needs doing. The scheduling system is so smart and allows me to save time and keep all my projects on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of yet there is nothing I dislike about fault. I think there are features that are a lot more useful to managers which I would not use and therefore can not comment on. An improvement I would suggest is that when a new user has been added by the manager it would be useful if they got a notification or email letting them know that the new user had accepted their request as managers can be quite busy and forget to check.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Within our team we are all able to see what has or hasn't been done very easily which also therefore helps us to organise meetings if needs be. An additional benefit I had not realised before is that Float also allows you to add in holidays/paid time off etc which is very useful. We are able to reassign tasks as appropriate and see any changes made almost immediately. It is a massive improvement from using the Excel spreadsheet we used to have.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is very useful to read the 'How Float Works' section on the website to learn all the features. There are a lot of great features that I think more workplaces could make use of, such as viewing all your team's workload in one place and viewing multiple projects at the same time.

What do you like best about the product?
Float is SUPER easy to use and very user-friendly. I had never used this kind of software in any of my previous positions and it's so helpful! My managers use it to assign work and make sure that everyone stays on top of their projects. Even on the user end, it's very simple to get the hang of and it makes my life so much easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into any problems using it so far so I don't have anything negative to really say about it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to keep better track of my schedule, and I love that I can access Float on my phone and personal computer as well. It has increased team productivity, increased accountability, and is so easy to use!

I haven't been using it for that long so i haven't had any bad experiences so far

I'm an intern here so it's really nice to see what project I have to work on with who and at what time

What I really like the best is the ease of use of the product, which gives you all the information you need in a very short period of time. I use it mostly to forecast the availability of people and it works great!
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike, but in my opinion the only thing that could be potentially improved is the filter feature. I think it is a great feature but it could be either more visible or pushed further away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps me to quickly see who is working on which project and when, which can be very helpful when a new project is coming and you are looking at the availability of some people. You get this information really quickly and easily.

Great overview
What do you like best about the product?
We use Float to track holidays, competences and projects for employees, split over locations, managers etc. Float provides an elegant overview of this information that is easy to understand and navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface has a few kinks in the drag/drop mechanics, but nothing major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking holidays and providing an overview of what people are doing in the long term.

Would like to be able to configure the UI but this doesn't seem to be available

Main benefit is it's so easy to check the plan for the day, really keeps my work on track.
Great product to have a long term view on your ressources' planning
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see the next three months of my team planning. I know when each of them will be available to work on something else. Also, I can set an amount of time per project, that let me know if we're on budget or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
The view on the milestones is not really clear. I'd like to see it better so we can rush in time to finish!

I now have a clear view on who is available or not to start a new project.

The overall overview of the calendar colour coded and intuitive.

The scroll speed while browsing through the agenda
