simple and efficient

What do you like best about the product?
I was looking for a tool that would allow capacity planning and tracking for a project management team.
We needed a tool which allows to share the planning with the client on RO access.
This tool simply provided me with all the aspects i wanted. moreover, it's friendlyness and ease of use convinced me (if needed) to select it.
A look at the price confirmed my choice. It was without any doubt the best value for money I assessed.
What do you dislike about the product?
As the team leader and administrator of the Float Application I feel is missing :
The report Tab is not available on mobile devices.
The capacity report tab is only in hours and we can't have it in load %.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float is definitively easy to use and still brings me with the expected features.
I have no regret on my choice !

What do you like best about the product?
The budgeting functionality for each task
What do you dislike about the product?
UI might need a bit of improvement when dragging a task to completion. Sometimes it unchecks the smaller tasks within the larger one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management with budgeting options.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely use this product if you have a team with each person contributing to tasks that has budget constraints.

The only schedule I check

  • August 25, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How clear I can see my time, fully customisable to add colour coding (which is my absolute soft spot) and that it allows to see what my peers are working on as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app could do with some streamlining to view more than 4 weeks of my time as we have lots of projects that are scheduled very much ahead that I'd love to be able to see at a glance!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe it helps massively with the organisation of our team's internal availability and gives us the flexibility to change and re-organise last minute.

What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely simple and provides an amazing overview of your team's capacity, schedule and workload
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit difficult to reschedule activities and there is no option to temporarily increase or decrease the availability of a team member
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have an agency with ~20 operative consultants and PMs. With Float we manage their project assignments and workload.
We also report on billable vs. internal hours

What do you like best about the product?
Very simple and easy to use.
Colour coding is very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few quirks you need to learn around project / client naming.
The costs start to scale quickly with users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

A part of our own development phase

What do you like best about the product?
As a developer the sidetracking is easy. So we've got engineers but instead Float. Float doesn't only help me remember track of what I'm doing and what I can do it, and that also lets me keep count as to what other coworkers do. Particularly now, because homeschooling is indeed the new standard, it's very easy to test if one of my teammates is busy, and whether they may have any room from my. It all without installing 20 filters, and handling a complicated UI. Hover seems to have all the functionality in almost all of the right positions but also manages to retain a UI that looks lightweight.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the integration of this software with our time sheet tool might be more valuable. Refreshing the page may sometimes induce several other documentation to go lost. Many more than all these sites, I don't think Float lacks user interface but had been of benefit to the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the things that we would want to see is various budget rencies that are accessible on the same squad. You should have only cryptocurrency per person at the moment with several teams. This is not practical because we'd have folks on various applications and can be currency exchanges, but that would make things wrong.
