I love it
What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely easy to schedule new tasks, to keep track of the total time spent on each one and of the people involved in the project.
The Reports page is super useful for keeping track of the total time spent working, which could later help in better time estimations.

I'm not sure there is something that I dislike.

I find it helps me more with time management.
Easy to use resource allocation
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to deploy and use, good learning curve. See in one layout all the resource allocation and filter by projects and employees (even inside the reports) are great features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even when it's easy to deploy and the learning curve is asequible, requires more clicks than expected to control a full workforce can be long. A more detailed report would and custom fields on projects and employees be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clear view and controlling of the workforce. Forecasting of the workload. Dropping excel.
Great for balancing work load
What do you like best about the product?
Float can easily help you find out who is overwhelmed with work and who has too much free time. Perfect for companies that need to make efficient use of employee time. Especially those that bill time to clients.

There's a little bit of a learning curve to it and feels clunky at first but becomes natural over a short period of time.

Float has given our managers ability to view who is available for new project assignments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have your entire team try it out and give it enough time to reflect on your productivity.
Floast helped us organize our resources better and take the guess work out of scheduling.

Simple, concise layout that let's us see where our assets are being used.

Mobile app has issues, needing login every time being the latest one.

Better top down view of our organization and how we're deploying resources.
Super easy to use and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Float is very easy to use and set up. The drag and drop functionality for the scheduler is great and being able to switch from people to project is also very useful.
Adding projects is pretty easy too and seeing everyone together on one board and their availability is precisely what the company needed. We tried many other platforms and they didn't work.

What do you dislike about the product?
We use several other platforms so better integration with them would be great. We currently just started using Asana, and it would be advantageous to input time in Float and have it link to asana's projects or vice-versa.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Monday.com before and it was hard to see what everyone was working on. We had to search each user, look at their tasks for the day, and then assess how long it would take each task. Now we can combine all that information in one place for easy access and see at a glance who has time to work on new projects

If you are thinking of switching, this is it, super happy.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can see all my colleagues' tasks. So, I know what they're doing and when I can bother them. This also helps to lock in my schedule with them, so I can work on my individual tasks when they're not available.
What do you dislike about the product?
This program has pretty much everything you need and then some more, so most of the problems come from the fact that I can't find a certain functionality. It gets easier with time and experience.

Float is mainly used for scheduling, adding tasks and managing teams, and it does the job flawlessly. It had a brid's eye view feature and it provides all the necessary functions to divide into teams, projects and tasks.

Calendar integration can be improved for better sync.

It helps me manage all my projects and lets me review what all projects my team is working on. This helps me track their work and allocate work as per availability.

Easy and intuitive app
What do you like best about the product?
I like to have an overview on what I'll be working on and also, what my colleagues are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there's not much else to do than watch my calendar. It feels like a small app with not many features.
