Float: Easy to use, time saving assured
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the app design: it is easy-to-use, full of drag&drop features.
I think that having the possibility to check other collegues' schedule is very useful to better organize the daily work.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate a new features which sends a message in case of overlapping scheduling.
I found some bugs in the new Phases feature: when you click on a schedule task before clicking on "Log", the system changes your task with the first one available in the list.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float is helping us to better organize our daily activities on big projects, avoiding overlapping scheduling and people disallocation.
Good software to track team's billability
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and the visual overview makes it very intuitive to see what my colleagues are up to
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have a plug in that automatically tracks how much time I'm working on a certain project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to track my team's billability and understand how we are spending our time.

Can categorise departments and teams, to allow me to see what my department and collaborating departments are working on

Email updates could be better, email me on a monday what my week looks like, should show my tasks first rather than alphabetical by default

Allows me to manage my time, as well as predicting completion times by seeing when things i am waiting on will arrive

What do you like best about the product?
The calendar view of the Log-Time area is fantastic - well designed, user-friendly, easy to read and keep track of time spent on ongoing projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slightly confusing how the Log-Time and Schedule differ in use. Ready-made presets or drop-down options for projects (things like unbillable time or research) would be useful and help further clarify/ quantify time-spent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float enables us to get a better understanding of the required time needed to complete projects, further enabling us to create more accurate project schedules and billing

What do you like best about the product?
I like how much it helps me to organise my day. I use it constantly to see what I have coming up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I can't edit things unless i am an administrator. Sometimes I would like to mark things as complete, for my benefit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am figuring out who, in my team, can help me with projects and when I need to book a holiday, I know not to choose days where my colleagues are off, through Float.

What do you like best about the product?
Its ease of use. It is easy to see schedules if work. Logging time is simple
What do you dislike about the product?
it could look more modern and attractive

Time tracking and management of team members.
Float is great for first learners and so easy to use!

I love how easy to use the software is, it is great for new learners and not difficult to understand

I think it would be better to make Float more inclusive to PM and production needs such as budgeting. It would also be better if you could temporarily add users such as freelancers for 30 days.

It is so easy to use and it is great for teams to be able to access this. The guest feature on Float is also great as it lets account managers see live updates.
Float is better than Jira - just switch!
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use. It has cool design - much better than Jira! Website doesn't lag at all.

I would like to have menu (schedule, log time, etc.) on the left side of the screen.

I'm logging time as QA engineer. It's much easier than in Jira.
