A great user experience and program to manage day to day workflows and projects
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great program that allows you to see what everyone is working on and can allow you to keep track of the projects that are at work and when they need to be completed by
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much that I can think of that I dislike about the product - the one thing I don't love is that you can't split a project across multiple days with a break in the middle
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management is a huge thing - keeping track of it and making sure that time is used more effficently
Float made scheduling a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
One dashboard, one overview of all resources and it integrates with our job creation tool which makes it super easy for timesheets. Moving jobs to other days is just a drag and drop away.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be awesome, if a job doesn't exist in our job management tool, if float could create it via push.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Job scheduling across a large team is now much easier. Integrating with our job management tool saves time on timesheet management and ensures jobs don't go over on time.
Good management system for tasks and such, would be nice if I could message my bosses via float

It's easy to read and the colours help highlight things well
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit slow sometimes, and it either shows me everyone or just myself, I want to be able to see my team only

It lets me know efficiently when i need to be available and lets me let my managers know my availability
Easy to utilize
What do you like best about the product?
Float makes tracking time/hours for each project you are assigned to very quick and easy. Each task has its own tab that is very specific to what you are working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Logging in time should definitely be the responsibility of the user, however, I think an alert/notification feature to remind users to track their hours would be very useful. I dislike that it is up to managers and higher-ups to reach out about missing days or time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float solves the issue of employees being unsure about how often or how little they dedicate time to certain projects; with Float you can visualize in the reports how much time is spent on a task, and this is beneficial in showcasing how your hours are being distributed throughout the day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I advise users to become familiar with their agency/organization's various billable and non-billable tasks so that selecting what you are logging time for is a lot easier.
UI Not Very Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I like the built-in keyboard shortcuts to expedite common tasks (logging time, eliminating tasks from view)
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not very intuitive. I find it a little difficult to navigate

It helps me log hours for work to keep tasks organized time-wise

Useful for Scheduling
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using the real-time calendar. I like having the freedom to edit my own calendar's schedule, whereas in the past I used to have to go around the office telling everyone my schedule in person which was exhausting. Float is very low-effort and easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't yet found the best way to name and organize my projects. The different project managers name their projects using a different naming system, so it is not quite stream-lined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the Float calendar, I feel like I can easily schedule myself and others. If there are scheduling conflicts, they are easy to resolve by just moving/dragging tasks around.
It has been really nice to see how members from all in the company are staying busy

Being able to show how busy I am and how I can show when I need work.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I am updating a job or adding a new job I need to be specific about what I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have not had any to send out.

Update it often or it is not worth it.
Easy UI keeps my job productive
What do you like best about the product?
simple UI and very straightforward to do my task of logging time quickly.

i don't ever use any of the tabs besides the time log screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i can log my time as quickly as possible without any issues or concerns, moving my time towards what truly matters: work.
