Easy Timesheet Recording
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Float is that you can insert time according to the projects instead of just putting in one cumulative block. Moreover, you can move the blocks around the timesheet according to importance or preference.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no feature to copy paste time blocks - in other words, duplicate time blocks - since a lot of time one needs to enter the same amount of time on different days with the exacts comments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Float helps me to record and maintain my time spent during various projects on a day in an effective and efficient way. I'm able to track how much time I am allotted on a single project.

Great UX and UI - very simple, yet powerful. All key features are working and are designed great after last update

Lack of ability to customize exported reports

Amazing tool gives the opportunity to notify colleagues for changes in timeline. Keep going guys :)

Easy to use and very intuitive. It can be combined with other platforms as well. Highly recommended.

Float is very nicely well-structured, hard to say something bad.

With float, we are able to update our capacity which makes it easier to assign projects to the company

It would be nice to develop a float desktop application or receive notifications on a mobile phone when changes happen.

Visualising day's workload and being able to schedule specific time or duration of task.

That it doesn't work with the archaic scheduling system my company currently adopts across the board.

float helps individual to record timings and can recall what he/she did on a particular day and can also see the data in form of how many hours worked in a week or month.

No disadvantages for using float. interface could have little bit better and of less complexity

Filtering and reporting - it is easy to get information about the time spent on a specific project.
What do you dislike about the product?
When someone enters the name of a project to which he/she is not assigned (because, for example, the project manager forgot to add a given person) he/she does not see that the project exists. It should be possible for such people to ask to join the project team. This generates a lot of unnecessary communication and misunderstandings.

It allows us to measure the profitability of projects, so we know which projects are profitable and which are not.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a tool to easily measure time spent on projects with a decent reporting system - Float is a good choice.
Useful tool for project management and time tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Float is very easy to use, incredibly well organised and allows for really effective management of time across creative, editorial and client services teams. Many people can use it at the same time, and it updates real-time which is fantastic for managing tons of updates all happening throughout the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be a few more colours or ways to differentiate my projects from someone elses. It sometimes gets difficult to find which projects are mine, and which are others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us to manage time across all teams, meaning work doesn't get lost and everyone can have a successful day.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a really useful tool, but only for when your organisation has grown to the point where you cannot manage time only using yourselves. It is helpful when there are lots of different projects all with different timelines.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to make a project plan, and allow PM to see and easy to collaborate on projects across departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new design is a bit confusing, the colouring sometimes confused the action area/items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To allow PM to see how the resources is booked, and also to see the overall project hours is used.
