In my experience, I haven't encountered any major issues with the tool. However, there could be a learning curve for new users, especially depending on which tool you're using. For example, I've used MuleSoft in the past, which is more code-oriented and requires knowledge of Java. Transitioning to Boomi AtomSphere Integration took me a couple of months because of differences in terminology.
One area that could be improved is the CI/CD process. Currently, we use Azure DevOps for CI/CD to deploy Boomi AtomSphere Integration changes to the preferred and productive environments. While it provides deployment scripts, maintaining a comprehensive list of components for deployment can be tedious. There needs to be an easier way to do CI/CD deployment.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the product for two and a half years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The tool is generally stable, but we sometimes face minor issues when updating it. For example, the user interface might not refresh correctly.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It seems like our current setup has scalability limitations. We've reached the maximum capacity, so we can't scale up or out anymore. This is causing some issues, especially when dealing with large files or complex processes. For example, sending data to other systems via an HTTP feed endpoint can take longer than 30 minutes. My company has four users.
How are customer service and support?
I've had positive experiences with the tech support team. They respond quickly, especially with the initial response to my inquiries. Even for multiple issues or questions, they're prompt in addressing them.
How was the initial setup?
The tool's deployment is straightforward and familiar to me. We can easily test solutions in different environments, like development, testing, and production. We utilize CI/CD for our support processes. We maintain an XML file containing the component ID, integration version, and other necessary details. Then, we run the CI/CD PowerShell script in DevOps, which automatically retrieves the component details and deploys them to the target environment.
What other advice do I have?
I rate the overall product an eight out of ten.

There's embedded AI agents which are introuduced as latest update in Boomi, which we can incorporate into our workflows.

Usability and Learning curve because it takes a significant effort to fully understand and utilize different boomi features.

The initial learning curve for users takes a bit of time but overall it still gives users a pleasant experience and the value provided Boomi is worth the learning curve.

During our acquisitions, we ended up having multiple different systems with data which needed to be integrated for a seamless experience. Boomi assisted in solving that and helped in analysing and viewing data discrepancies.

Boomi is low code integration platform. All configurations of connections, Maps, error handling are done very easily.

Sometimes the high volume integrations take time to execute.
Also the UI changes in boomi are too frequent and because of these changes, Boomi's performance reduces a bit every week

In a context in which hyper-collaboration throughout the entire ecosystem becomes a competitive advantage and a suite of Integration component like Boomi is fondamental.
Boomi is the glue that binds our distributed systems together
What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Boomi for over 5 years and throughout that time it has been extremely stable, was easy to setup, configure and maintain. We rarely need support but they've been responsive when called upon. I appreciate their pricing model in unlimited data flow and only paying for the connector types you use which has been important as we onboard new systems and need to ensure they're communicating in a safe and efficent manner.

Their trianing portal could use a refresh.

Is an e-commerce company we integrate with many different clients. One of our major one uses Boomi to handle data upload from the storefront and it is seamless and vast. A win-win for us and our client.

Sometimes on busy days with lots of customer orders it can get backed up but we just have to wait for Boomi to process it all.
