Sophos Firewall the most powerful in the security era.
What do you like best about the product?
I am working on different firewalls including Sophos Firewalls (Sophos) is the easiest and cheapest compared to other leading firewalls. A leader in Gartner's, it delivers its intention as an NGFW with a built-in SDWAN feature/dual antivirus/synchronized security/ Sophos central as very easy to manage centrally.
I love the GUI and detection and visibility of reach security capabilities that Sophos Firewall has. The wide range of product portfolio integration makes Sophos Firewall the most powerful in the security era.

What do you dislike about the product?
I was troubleshooting the HA issue and resolved it gracefully but found a reboot frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sophos Firewall provides a wide range of gateways and internal security features as compared to other very cheapest prices.

1. Liked very much monitor function it includes all adminstrator requirements such as Routing, DHCP, Loadbalance, IPsec, SSL VPN, SDWAN and Firewall users, Intrusion prevention and so on.
2. Configuration and report generation is easy and GUI sophos dashboard looks nice and handy customization.
3. Allows both Remote access vpn and site to site vpn this types provide more security to use public IPs anywhare in the world.

In COVID time all employees do work from home we need to secure our data and network, sophos firewall provides and ensure the remort site as well as to ensure vpn connection for employess.

Sophos XG is a fantastic solution. We achieved our security target after installing the solution. Our main concern was to block uploading. We were able to achieve that using the custom rules.
What is most valuable?
The product has all the latest features. It has malware protection, ransomware protection, and zero-day protection. It helps block everything.
What needs improvement?
The vendor doesn’t publish the price on the website. We must contact the agents to know the price. It is a lengthy process. It would be easier if the price details were provided on the website.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using the solution for the last three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The tool’s stability is good. I rate the tool’s stability a ten out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
We have 10 to 15 users in our organization. The tool’s scalability is high. I rate the scalability a ten out of ten.

The technical support is great.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup was difficult. We must learn everything before implementation. In the beginning, everything seems difficult. For someone who has worked on other firewalls before, Sophos XG is not that complicated to implement.
I prefer the on-cloud versions because we have control systems on the cloud. It will be much easier to handle things. If we have it on-premises, we must maintain and look after the equipment. The cloud version is much more secure and easier to maintain.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing is very high. The product could be a little cheaper. It will help Sophos to compete with other brands in the market. I rate the pricing a ten out of ten.
What other advice do I have?
We also use Sophos Intercept X. It is a fantastic tool. It protects PCs from malware attacks. Overall, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.

we have been using the Sophos firewall and have good experience with this vendor. It is very user friendly and easy to manage the security infra easily. and had good experience with customer support as well. when we face any issues with it we can connect to Sophos support and they support within the time frame easily. We have integrated to our monitoring solution and it very easy to implement it and monitor it. It's provide a lot security features that we are using daily..

we have been using this Sophos firewall and did not face any magor issues with it. our overall experince is good and don't have any dislike at this point.

Sophos has one of the best features when it comes to protection, it has build in features like firewall,antivirus,IPS,web filtering. It also has Next Gen Firewall which does packet inspection and advance threat protection. Sophos comes with a centralized management console where we can easily deploy,monitor and configure firewall policies with ease.

The Only dislike about Sophos Firewall is that it has limitations when it comes to integrating third party security solutions.

The solution's technical support is good but needs to improve in certain areas. I rate the support an eight out of ten.

Our company uses different products from Fortinet in some different locations.
Sophos XG is good for the modules it offers and if there are a large number of users. From a price perspective, Sophos XG is also good if the number of users is less.
How was the initial setup?
The product's deployment process was easy.
I was the only person involved in the deployment of the product in my company.
The product can be deployed in three to four hours.
What other advice do I have?
Sophos XG enhanced our company's network security and threat management since the speed and the connectivity of the VPN that it offers make it very easy to manage and don't get disconnected. When we were having CyberOne in our company, we faced some VPN connectivity issues. The VPN connectivity issue in our company was resolved with Sophos XG. With Sophos XG's username and password, users generally don't face issues related to VPN disconnection.
A scenario where Sophos XG was good for your organization stems from the fact that the performance offered by the tool is good.
The most effective feature of Sophos XG m that protects my company's network stems from the fact that it is able to protect the network by filtering out all the threats from the internet. We never faced any problems in our company's network. My company has hardly faced any problems with our computers since it hasn't been infected with any viruses for four or five years.
Sophos XG's interface facilitated our company's security management tasks since it works in an okay manner in our organization. The interface offered by the product is easy to manage since my company has three lines connected to our environment, and whenever we get a new line during which there are some disturbances, the interface allows us to manage such areas easily.
It is very easy to maintain the product.
Speaking about the cost-savings or efficiency gains from the implementation of Sophos XG, it is an okay product from a price perspective that provides the functions of a firewall.
I rate the overall tool a ten out of ten.
