Use of Git lab as a Version Controlling tools
What do you like best about the product?
private Git lab can be hosted and we can integrate GitLab with different testing tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes if a user change device and wants to access their own repo it is very hard to configure because of the hard security of the git lab

IT is the best Version controling tools. Also we can use git lab as a Project management tools

- I like the way to create new projects; it is well organized compared to the competence; in addition, the merge request option is one of the powerful and unique options that GitLab.

- I would like to have a chat option that is easier to follow a thread like Github; I recommend improving this feature in the future.

-We create several projects for multiples clients using GitLab, is very easy to track changes across the projects and assign activities for the different developers.

Best Project Management tool, user-friendly UI, can manage multiple projects, and great security

there are some limitations and restrictions in the free version, and it is a bit expensive

It is used for auto-deploying the project using GitLab CI/CD pipeline and versioning of our code changes

Nothing much, except the UI is not that user freindly

It solves auto integrations,with our tool that we are building, all the version control management

What do you like best about the product?
It provides so many features like integration, tracking, wiki. It has customizable features that helps the developer to costumize it based on the project need. Delete branch after merge is a good feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not easy to understand. It takes time to learn. Navigation can be improved. UI needs some improvements to be more attractive and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Code review becoms easy, comments on code lines helps. And exact differences between master and our branch. Easy to find out previous commits, pushes and code merge.

Open source, version control, gitops, cicd , devsecops, agile development, value stream management, integration with kubernetes, Jenkins and jira, creating source repositories

Gitlab web hooks are not very user friendly as hard to configure. Gitlab CLI is not elaborate in its functionality. Creating a better-centralized hub to see all changes and track things back for multiple builds that might be being used

If you want to automate the process and control your source code version, then Gitlab is the right choice

What do you like best about the product?
I like gitlab because it's easy to use. Beginers can use git got tortoise with gitlab which help them a lot to manage codes and their versions without knowing commands by simply git pull, git push or other activities. Cherry picking is also easy to manage in gitlab, which makes it powerful than other tools.biggest thing about gitlab is, it is completely free.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is occasional crash in gitlab, some features are missing in gitlab than github, if they include those features, and occasional crashes fixes, it will be a best solution for version control, specially for non technical people, it will be on fire with git tortoise

What do you like best about the product?
Fantastic for version control, team integration, and continuous deployment all in one place. The interface is user friendly and intuitive, and the charts make it easy to keep up with project progression.
It's easy for the team to review code, add comments, and commit any needed changes before merging. The use of branching and the related visuals also assist with merge conflicts.

What do you dislike about the product?
a lot of the more premium features that were free in the past seem to be locked behind a pay wall now. It may be too intimidating for users who are not familiar with scrum and agile methods. Jenkins.

version control, collaboration, team communication, deployment, continuous integration and testing, pipeline testing, storage of documentation, and it keeps stakeholders and developers on the same page.
