What do you like best about the product?
Setup was easy and the ability to setup personalized SLA's can get as granular as you want.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are apprehension with the new v9 release moving to the cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is the best backup recovery program we've gotten to use. It's straight forward and easy workflow make it easy to come back to.
You get what you pay for in life
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, clear simple display, security cloud allows single pane of glass for multiple services. Customer support is as good as I've ever seen

Inability to backup native SQL, RBS agent can be a little temperamental at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of visibilty of all jobs and compliance. Improved confidence in stabilty and no fear of data loss

Rubrik Backup, it is easy to use and it works without spending time each day.

We had many problems with different Backup Jobs, now with Rubrik sla backup jobs it it much more easier. Backup is running without user interaction. If you have questions you can reach out for there great Support
Easy, efficient and worth the investment
What do you like best about the product?
The backup procedure is fairly intuitive and highly customizable using RestAPIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some things that you have to go to support to have changed if your corporate policies demand it, and there are some things that can only be chnged using the API. However, I wouldn't change it because it would add unnecessary complexity for something that isn't a common occurrence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick and efficient data recovery for thost accidental file deletions and corrupt servers. Not only am I more productive, I look like the hero when I can save the day in mere minutes.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is simple to configure and scope out. The SLA is very easy to understand and configure. You define your RPO and RTO and the software will take care of the rest for you. It's quick and works well with the cloud.

When you deal with cloud backups, the cost can add up really fast and that is expected.

Rubrik provides a reliable backup solution that was lacking with our previous vendor.

Rubrik can be described as a single solution where most things are integrated, making the aforesaid detail its valuable feature.
What needs improvement?
Pricing is something that needs to be considered for improvement. Pricing needs improvement when compared with a similar product coming from a Cohesity. The cost side is a bit higher, making the solution costly for our company.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Rubrik for more than five years. My company functions as a service integrator of Rubrik.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I haven't encountered any bugs or glitches using the solution.
Stability-wise, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
My clients are mostly medium and enterprise-sized businesses.

How are customer service and support?
I still need to get feedback on Rubrik's support. I think that regarding the feedback, we never faced many issues on the support side. Hence, I rate the technical support a nine out of ten.
How was the initial setup?
I rate the implementation a seven on a scale from one to ten, where one is difficult, and ten is easy.
The majority of the deployments, like 80 percent, are done on-premises.
The deployment process takes a maximum of two weeks.
The number of people required for deployment depends on the data volume and the number of clients required. So, generally, we keep two people.

I rate the pricing an eight on a scale of one to ten, where one is low, and ten is high.
What other advice do I have?
I would definitely recommend the solution to those planning to use it.

Complete Backup Solution with Cloud and Near Zero Failover Options
What do you like best about the product?
The admin interface is very clean and organized. Beyond that, Rubrik has integration with cloud storage and services to allow the creation of air-gapped storage for better cyber attack recovery. What I have found is that we have replication between on-prem sites and then replication to AWS, then a separate copy within AWS that is stored, but older, for a last-ditch recovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Rubrik can't directly backup Azure SQL Services directly to cloud for replication and recovery. The databases have to be backed up as flat files first, then saved off to storage which makes recovery options limited. If they can clean this up/add this feature we would give this a 10.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single plane of glass console for backups spanning on-prem and cloud storage platforms with easy replication between those platforms. Rubrik has made leveraging cloud-based storage for backup retention very simple.

What do you like best about the product?
Rubrik is very easy to use and provides very reliable and immutable backups of systems.

The reporting could use some improvements.

Rubrik has allowed us to easily and quickly backup our critical servers and provide comfort, knowing they are safe from ransomware.

What do you like best about the product?
A great backup and restore appliance for IT professionals. It is very easy and fast to be installed and delivered by the company. It has a very easy management interface even for a first-time admin.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the Vmware environment, the recovery phases from backup can be annoying in conflicting processes with integrated applications such as RP4VM. Maybe the problem is solved.

SQL, virtual machine, file backup met our backup needs. It also provided disaster recovery site replication. It also provided very good opportunities for backup protection.
