Succesfull Implementation of Bots. Thanks to Automation Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way how excel commands works and show its performance. On top of that the Meta-Bot compare to other RPA tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not very satisfied with the Object cloning tools. I face lot of difficulties in that command and those are never solved. There are no any particular description like how to choose pane or field text at your own when object cloning is not able to recognized by itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a developer and I am solving lots of problems related Excel, Pdf, Web Control commands and our surveys'. I can reduce many manual work at our organization.
Powerful software, helpful support, but documentation needs improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The tool has a lot of powerful capabilities and within a few months, are already able to automate some of our business tasks into production.
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation isn't keeping up with the rapid growth of the software. For new clients, there are many barriers to getting started. The support team is very good at resolving those issues, but ideally, the issues wouldn't exist in the first place (with better install guides)..

With our first bot we have automated the creation of a daily trail balance.

The structure, with reporting tools and dashboards. Bots can be created after a little bit of training

The training thru the online University is a little dry and it is easy for people to lose interest

To reduce cost to serve and improve quality, to ensure we remain as a market leader

Start simply, look at internal processes first

What do you like best about the product?
The guidance was very good. We were taught with handling of the tool in a stepwise manner. That is something that made us understand the tool very much clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
If not for the good guidance, the tool would have been really confusing taking us nowhere. It had so many commands and options which need individual study and experimentation.

Easy recognition of problems or errors.

I like the ease of scripting and the control room view
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the UI and the use of queues in BluePrism and UiPath. I also like the databases backend of BluePrism which makes sharing code a lot easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating/changing purchase orders in SAP. Saves hours of time weekly. Created a bot to read long surveys and enter them into an older, system that is time consuming - reduced entry time from over an hour for a human to 20 minutes.

Lack of customizable variables. Date variables are set by client and not by task.

The ability to automate processes that were very manual in the company I work for

Many times, being able to automate processes takes a long time, making their execution costly and delayed.

Delays in some processes, which generate untimely responses to customers and additional costs for the company

Automate the processes, generate agility, timely responses, and dedicate time to processes that truly generate profits for the company.
It was a good decision going with Automation anywhere for implementing RPA in our organization

Automation anywhere enterprise software is a very competitive and easy to use software. Customer support team is very prompt and responsive to solve technical issues and questions.

Havent found any reason to dislike Automation Anywhere

RPA is used to build process automation of repetitive non productive tasks to reduce man power. Also to automate standard finance processes.

Inability to Customise Dashboard and Operations Room in the Control Room - these is extremely frusturating as there is informaiton there which i do not require and have to continuously expand columns which i do require every time I log in; automation anywhere was not fully involved in setting up of architecture and we relied on the vendor. this caused teething issues and i wish AA was move available during this time

A number of FTE benefits in Accounts Receivable since we are using RPA to raise invoices as well as receipt payments. The potential to leverage this software across different aspects of our business
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to use the online training prior to using product and educate business as well. Also, it is important that the implementation partner has enough background in networks prior to setting up architecture
