Administration and insights needs a lot of work. Not yet user friendly for admins. Some reliability issues with bot runner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple manual time consuming repetitive process are being targeted. A lot of end user time saving and cost savings have been realized.
Great rpa tool, Easy to Learn and easy to implement
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is an easy to learn tool and the preset business functions or processes make it very easy to learn. You have to learn to think analytically and in detail so you can mirror and mimic the business process but the menu helps you through the steps and makes sure you cover every detail.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to learn to read the code and learning to write comments so you can remember what you did previously when setting up the situation and trying to de bug it later on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using AA to set up accounting processes - both payroll and paying invoices; HR processes and the WES group is setting up many netwrok related bots, Verizon Wirless uses bot chat bots and task bots to make their processes better

Enterprise Ready Process Automation Tools
What do you like best about the product?
In comparison to other RPA tools, AA offers many special and unique features such as a Marketplace for Bots, IQBot for intelligent recognition of document elements and with their new features from V11 such as queuing of transactions, distribution of task execution, lockers of credentials in CR, ... it even got better.
What do you dislike about the product?
The design of AA differs from other vendors like UiPath or BluePrism. You need to get used to the "script"-like design of the editor if you haven't been involved into programming before, but anyone can learn it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of report generation, pulling data from one system, converting it and pushing it into another.

Automating tasks can be easy and fun
What do you like best about the product?
I think the best part of Automation Anywhere is the easy to use platform. Everything is well laid out and 500+ commands are life saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
The training modules are long and demonstration videos are not always helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating pricing data uploads from distributors that occur on a monthly basis. In addition, I use the software to automate information gathering such as invoice data extraction to better identify costs that are not visible on the Purchase Order item level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Anything new can be daunting. The software is fairly easy to use and practice will be the best way to understand the system

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is simple, straight forward and easy to understand. The ability to drag and drop commands is helpful as well as intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve is somewhat steep, but I believe that is because of how powerful the tool can be. Perhaps a few improvements could be made for loops and If/Then statements to make them a little more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are realizing a lot of daily tasks can be automated and allow employees to spend time on more important tasks. Simple and repetitive tasks are the big time savers for us.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface and the work flow. I also love the recorders which helps getting a bot going a lot faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Installation is tricky. I think that the prerequisites should be packaged in one install process.

Reading emails and forwarding to the appropraite teams.
Intuitive and Versatile Automation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I liked best how user-friendly and easy to grasp the tool is. Basic programming knowledge would work since it can be as simple as a drag and drop development environment. However, even though it is easy to learn, mastering it would be a lot. This translates that the tool has lots of capabilities and opportunity is endless considering what more we could do with the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few items only regarding the developer environment, particularly when using metabots. Variables cannot be searched when using metabots, so it is a bit harder to debug. Hopefully, this would be resolved in the V11 update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly the highly repetitive tasks that takes a lot of effort from the operations team. Also, this helped in digitization of data used in the processes which in turn made the whole system more cohesive. Benefits are in the form of man-hours saved due to freed up capacity, as well as work avoidance when the bot was deployed.

The drag and drop function for all kind of processing

It always needs to be connected to the control hub which makes difficult to work while travelling due to internet connectivity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have monthly and quarterly operations process for which we needed 3 FTE's and they were bored of the stagnant work. With Automation Anywhere we automated the complete operations process and 0.5 FTE is needed now.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of coding, it make writing problems so easy to do. It is also very aesthetically pleasing to use. Additionally the training from you guys has been excellent. Customer support is also excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of dynamic variable coding. IT would be good if the coding was harder to do. Therefore bringing in better variables.
