Refreshing software innovation
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is a powerful RPA tool which feels like a significant technological evolution helping in increasing productivity and cost reduction as it's main purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are however several risks with RPA. Criticism include risks of stifling innovation and creating a more complex maintenance environment of existing software that now needs to consider the use of graphical user interfaces in a way they weren't intended to be used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of a few manual works done by technicians.

Some times the run takes a while to get the job to execute.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere makes it easy for beginners and advanced users to learn the product, its tool and how to create the needed tasks to improve business processes and automate mundane activities on a consistent basis. There is a great learning modules and testing phase which helps get you comfortable developing and creating with AA.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is definitely still a learning curve but that is nothing against Automation Anywhere, if anything it is a just a new skill set to learn. I would stay the breadth of information that they throw at you during training and the amount of information is just a bit overwhelming and it is hard to sustain the ability to take it all in within the limited training period.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving a variety of problems with Automation Anywhere. To begin with we are working to start to remove simple daily and repeatable tasks from our staff that can be done by machine. These then allows our skilled workers to address other areas of work and put their skills and resources towards another area that AA can't do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say check it out, try, do the training, contact support. Test out the features and the product and you can see for yourself if it is a viable option. There are definitely other companies out there that do the same thing and I know our company advised AA was quite expensive but for the service you get and possibly the advanced features they have for RPA this might be the golden ticket!

All activity we perform can be seen in a single place which makes it easy to debug and identify the issues quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need more clarity on Tool tip. Need more for Citrix Automation

Tool tip needs some improvement.

What do you like best about the product?
It has covered everything, almost everything. Till now i did not find a computer process which is not present in Automation Anywhere. It has helped me a lot in Automating the daily task and i could utilize my time in some productive work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though I have not explored much as i am a new user, but As a developer i am not very happy only with the drag/drop options for command. I understand it is made mainly to use with people without coding experience but still, you must think once from developer point of view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am mainly automating some repetitive task which used to take most of my day time and now i can make use of my free time doing something worth for me and my organization.

Automating the easier way with Automation Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is used for automating almost every type of process, be it excel automation or PDF automation. It let's you easily automate tasks using it's drag and drag features. The automation anywhere university is a great platform for people to learn about automation anywhere. It also provides certain certifications which can be used to increase your market value. Other than that features like web services integration, IQ bot etc makes it different from other tools out in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some problems I faced while automating tasks in AA. One being backward compatibility. The readability of code is quite poor which makes it very difficult for developers to debug the code. Also, when you move to other file in AA Client it moves down to the line of code as per the previously opened file.

Main task automated by Automation Anywhere is excel automation and form filling through Object Cloning. Web services are also used in some cases where the page is volatile.
PDF Automation and extraction is also done in some cases. Email automation was also used in a test case. The benefits have been quite immense. Bringing down manual tasks worth minimum two to three hours of manual effort to just ten minutes of bot's run the time required to complete a taskhas been reduced to a great extent. Mundane tasks like generating day to day reports etc have been automated which gives employees a chance to work on more interesting work and not get bored by the same work again and again.

Automation Anywhere is the best tool for beginners who want a career in RPA industry. It is also quite good tool for organisation that are looking to automate their internal tasks. The pricing is bit on a higher side but as per me AA is highly recommended. Ease of use, immense training material and robustness makes it even more eligible for the best RPA candidate

Directly the OCR tool, i haven´t been able to use it as i would like.

More than problems it have helped me to automate executive processess that reduced the expenses of the company.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere allows you to create simple and powerful bots that can do various automation tasks that do not require any human intervention. The tool was very user-friendly with lots of in-built features that can allow you to create a simple bot within a few minutes. Different kinds of Bots can perform different kinds of tasks. Three types of Bots: TaskBot, MetaBot, and IQBot. Task Bots: Bots which automate a rule-based, repetitive task, like working with documents, HR, IT services. MetaBots are those bots that change automatically apply to any process utilizing that bot. IQBot is an advanced tool. It can learn on its own and perform a task according to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Post-installation, Everything is simple and easy. But the Installation of the software tool is a bit complicated and licensing, even more. You will have to install two kinds of packages namely client, and control room. Also if your system's specification is poor/low, it will take some toll on the performance of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the Automation Anywhere tool, I sometimes scrape useful information from the internet, be it for my assignment or research purpose. I also use it sometimes to do mundane activities like copying and pasting contents from various files, as the bot can perform this task in a matter of a few seconds.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd highly recommend others to use Automation Anywhere tool if you want to remove the boring and mundane tasks with something so much more fun. Not only does it save your time, but it can also improve the way you think.
