Druva just works in the background until you need it to be center stage
What do you like best about the product?
Druva just works. End users never even know it is there until something goes wrong and need to access it, then it has no problem standing center stage and being in the spotlight as it saves the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
LET ME SORT COLUMNS IN FEDERATED SEARCH!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an extremely easy to use cloud backup solution for our hybrid (and leaning more remote than not) organization. After first login it just works day after day, backup after backup, without skipping a beat.

What do you like best about the product?
Druva is a cloud-native backup and disaster recovery solution designed for modern enterprises. Unlike traditional backup solutions that require on-premises infrastructure, Druva is fully SaaS-based, eliminating the need for hardware while providing secure, scalable, and automated backup management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Druva is a cloud-native solution, it requires a reliable internet connection for backups, restores, and daily operations. If the internet connection is unstable or slow, this can significantly impact the speed of backup processes or data recovery times. For organizations in remote or bandwidth-limited environments, this can be a critical limitation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing and protecting data across multiple environments (on-premises, hybrid, cloud) is complex. Traditional backup solutions often struggle to handle cloud-first workloads, leading to gaps in data protection.
Please allow Druva to be used in smaller businesses!
What do you like best about the product?
Once Druva is configured, it operates smoothly. Backups are effortless and automatic, typically running without any problems. In the rare event of an issue, customer support is easily accessible and very helpful. Ultimately, it saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, smaller businesses cannot use Druva because they do not meet the minimum size. Please help out the little guys too!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If Druva was not automating these backups, they would be extremely time-consuming. Druva integrates very well with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID, saving time and money.
An excellent cloud backup for Microsoft 365
What do you like best about the product?
A comprehensive and simple cloud backup and security solution for Microsoft 365. Druva have recently added identity backups for Entra ID, which is a massive value add.
There are a host of additions to the base level package - including Sensitive Data Governance, Federated Search, and eDiscovery, which are all very powerful tools.
Druva have a strong focus on security, with tools to monitor backups for suspicious activity, and to help recover clean backups after a ransomware attack.
Druva customer service is excellent, with chat functionality within the app.
There are a host of additions to the base level package - including Sensitive Data Governance, Federated Search, and eDiscovery, which are all very powerful tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
The licensing reports are unclear, and there is some inconsistency in the licence usage across various reports. There is some evidence that the reports are being modernised, so hopefully Druva will address this soon.
Sensitive Data Governance could be given an results export function and better ability to sort or filter results. It desperately needs a progress indicator as there is no way of telling how long a sensitive data search will take.

No backup server or hardware required. Secure and easy to manage.

What do you like best about the product?
Most of it is simple to setup and see exactly what is backing up

Different programs within the suite are a bit stiff to get to and sometimes fail to seamlessly move from one to another

What do you like best about the product?
Backups and visibility into more than just alerts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Perm delegation could use features and enhancments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows admins to see and adjust policys for retentions and files. Recovery for any situations that you may encouter.
Druva Backup and restore solution.
What do you like best about the product?
Druva is very solid in terms of technical support. They have always been helpful in resolving our backup or restore issues on time. The solution is general is very good!. Coming from a on-prem hardware solution to a full cloud has reduced our maintenance time in about 20% dealing with backups and restores. The other plus is that we integrated two solutions into one. They also offered M365 email backups at a reasonable price.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major at this point. I would suggest when the time comes for renewal to have a better understanding on how the credits work to better plan for data growth
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier backup and restore solution. Most important, the time we spent in the past managing this on-prem solution is almost gone. No hardware to maintain, network to deal with, or capacity restrictions to control. No software version updates either.
Druva - The Backup You Need
What do you like best about the product?
There is a pletherer of support 24/7 for any situation. Setup and implementation is simple. Easy to integrate. Should be used all the time on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot to this backup solution. This may seem complicated at first, but it isn't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a large customer base and feel at ease with Druva securing all our and customers data.

What do you dislike about the product?
GUI - sometimes find it confusing to find specific tools and reports - not updated for a few year now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Validation of backups - are the backups on our data being validated before restoration, yes they are.
Druva...Making backups easier and secure
What do you like best about the product?
The initial setup of Druva was one of the more simplier setups Ive ever done in my 12 years of IT. The engineer from Druva was very helpful. The cloud to cloud setup allows me not have a huge footprint in my virtual enviorment unlike with Veeam and 11:11 where it took 6 VMs for the backups to work. It was easy to intergrate with or M365 tenant, just setup it and let it go!
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides so far! Weve been using it for 2 months now and everything has been smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us reduce our footprint in our virtual enviorment and saved us money from our previous backup solution for M265.
