What do you like best about the product?
I love that Orca requires nearly zero configuration to hook up to a cloud provider. No agents to install, and ZERO impact on existing workloads. On top of that, the UX team is really top notch, making the portal super easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Orca's scan results can be a little paranoid. I love the findings, but in the real world things are messy. Sometimes theoretical vulnerabilities aren't actually a risk in practice. It's hard for Orca to know that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A very large percentage of data breaches are a result of misconfigured cloud systems or known vulnerabilities that aren't patched in a timely manner. Orca is another layer of defense in our overall prevention strategy.

Lots of false positives and DSPM quality is poor

Overall a productive CSPM tool
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboard is comprehensive and detailed, coverage is very good and precise, service response is quite fast and technically sound, search query is very impressive
What do you dislike about the product?
Too much false positives, compliance test case numbers are way too much and granular and non required. sometimes misses key findings like DNS Ips and subdomain takeovers
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping maintain cloud security posture, helps in finding details for key events. Helped in removing cloud security infrastructure gaps in load balancers SSL/TLS certificates. Helped cleanup unnecessary roles and users in IAM
Very solid Cloud Security solution
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to connect to your cloud environment, intuitive dashboard, fast SaaS platform, filtering capabilities, powerful query language, discovery and inventory of assets, also integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI seems to be getting better. In the past few months, it received a few changes to improve user experience. Another thing is log retention; it should be longer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Orca Security allows us to discover assets as soon as they are deployed in our cloud environment and keep track of them. The vulnerability piece is critical; we scan VMs or containers and detect wrong configurations, software out of date, or even systems exposed to the internet. And it helps you to prioritize those critical assets to take action on them first.

Their product is easy to install/configure and gives us a clear picture of our cloud environment threat landscape.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experience anything which I dislike about Orca Security.

Third party integrations, technical support, and advanced features for managing attacks and vulnerabilities.

User interface can be confusing sometimes

Vulnerability management for cloud workloads without the need for scanning or agents
Orca is a powerfull tool, easy to integrate, that does much more than CSPMs

The easyness of integration was really the trigger compared to other CLoud security tools.

Everything is working as expected since the PoC

Orca is able to scan each day all our cloud assets to find any new vulnerability, with integration with our Instant messaging solution and ticketing solution

What do you like best about the product?
Having an Agentless solution is the way to go. I also like the new features that are constantly introduced.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like Orca to provide a faster scanning approach. I think the 24 hours wait creates a security notification gap, eventhough scans on demand are possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that we don't need a management console to deploy Orca endpoint agents, and the fact that we can identify any cloud resource in our environment provides excellent and accurate asses visibility.

I don't have any major dislikes. Most of the enhances we ask for are implemented or in the works.

Having a broad view of all Cloud environments in a single portal. Gaining insight into the risks within the cloud environments.
One stop shop for Risk and Vulnerability management in Cloud environments
What do you like best about the product?
the fact that you can alsomost have one-stop shop for security risk management, vulnerability management and compliance benchmarking (hardening). Also the fact that you can actually see what affects you directly from the news feed. Orca makes your prioritization much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
can hardly finid a downside. Maybe the fact you cannot use it for onpremise, but was not design for this to begin with
