Orca brought more robustness in the monitoring of applications in the Cloud.
What do you like best about the product?
Agility and efficiency in monitoring. Dashboard easy to customize.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still a lack of plugins for other types of cloud that are not supported at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vulnerability management, threat analysis.
Useful Tool with Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
The alerts are very helpful, especially with the trending vulnerabilities that are more urgent to patch. When there are alerts needing immediate attention, an Orca engineer will sometimes personally reach out to ensure they are being addressed and not dismissed as noise. The support provided during the regular cadence calls are helpful, and it was easy to integrate with other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to learn how to query the platform for assets and alerts. The way findings can be vulnerabilities or alerts (likely both) can be confusing. A login is required to access documentation so it is hard to share with others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Orca is used mainly for cloud asset scanning and alerting. It correlates the different parts of our Cloud infrastructure and allows the mapping of attack paths.

we needed a easy to maintain and trustable solution to monitor and protect our cloud infra and orca does exactly that

We are not 100% cloud, so it doesn't cover everything we need to monitor.

Plays a huge roll in security visibility and helps us meet the needs for SOC 2 compliance.

A comprehensive cloud security platform that operates without agents, offering complete visibility into the entire environment.

Sometimes the risk scoring of already open alerts changes dynamically, requiring us to recalibrate our remediation efforts.
I would like to have the ability to access a history of alerts and vulnerabilities for a specific asset, allowing us to compare its risk status timeline.

We now have a complete cloud security platform that functions without agents, providing 100% visibility and different capabilities in one single tool.
An Agentless Low Touch Approach to Effective Vulnerability Management
What do you like best about the product?
I embrace the ease of an agentless low touch approach to configuration, implementation, and integration as it sets a strong standard in the industry in terms of time to value. Moreover, the insights and shift-left capabilities that are provided out of box are a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
A more refined RBAC model that allows me to provide access to dashboard insights for Product Owners that captures and comunicates risk and impact to the LOB.

Orca provides a single pane of gllass across a spectrum of security concerns that quickly illuminates our overall risk posture.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the change to get a full overview of the security of my cloud environment using only one tool. It is easy to use and implementation was done in les than an hour.
Customer support is pretty fast even for the standard support levels.

It is a little expensive, which might make the tool prohibitive for small companies.

Orca is providing us visibility about cloud risks. It has helped us identify issues that we did not even know we had.
Simple to integrate, easy to secure
What do you like best about the product?
I like how quickly Orca can integrate into our Cloud infrastructure and begin to identify issues we need to address. Once you see the issues from a micro and macro standpoint you can begint to really tackle them wholestically. They also consistently work with us to show us new features and help us solve the problems we need help solving.
What do you dislike about the product?
Well the price will undoubted keep climbing with new features and functionality. However, I wish it was easier to understand how to setup the automation aspects. That is something the team is just hesitant to work on and use.
