Great Business Intelligence for SaaS Platforms
What do you like best about the product?
Connecting data sources, building data models, and manipulating data are made easy with Sisense. The user-friendly interface is great for both us and our clients and allows us to quickly build the analytics that our clients need. We were also able to customize the look and feel of the embedded dashboards to closely match our platform. Additionally, consultants were on hand throughout our implementation process to guide us in using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
We occasionally encountered performance difficulties, but nothing that couldn't be sorted out by support reps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are embedding Sisense into our platform to help our clients understand their data more intimately, and help them make more informed decisions.
Great Data aggregation and visualizations
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to bring in multiple sources of data into a single Cube, don't need to build a separate data warehouse to combine all the different data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to write SQL to join data sets where lookup tables are used, otherwise some odd results can occur
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much improved Program monitoring and reporting. Have been able to identify negative and positive trends through the daily reports and alerts much sooner allowing us to prepare or remediate sooner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep system up to date, updates are made regularly and have new features and fixes. CSMs and AMs are very helpful, use them as needed. Support team is good, very responsive to requests.
Great Tool for Analyzing Very Large Datasets
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to import and combine data from many different data sources. Handles very large with good performance. Ability to create computed fields and computed tables. Can run on commodity servers, virtual machines, or in the cloud. Rich dashboard functionality with many different widgets and filters. Ability to create and save formulas. Good documentation and training. Excellent customer support. Sisense is continually enhancing and improving their product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Buckets must be created as computed fields if you want to use them in filters. Users cannot dynamically define buckets. Developers must be careful to avoid many-to-many relationships. New releases tend to be buggy. Sisense is expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are analyzing billions of records of data, and we are developing and deploying Sisense more user-friendly dashboards in a fraction of the time that it used to take us with SSRS. Sisense has empowered many of our analysts to design their own dashboards thus relieving the burden on the development team.
Intuitive Data and Reporting Tool
What do you like best about the product?
SIsense is very powerful and easy to work with, even the less-technical users can build effective dashboards. The interface is very intuitive for data warehousing, modelling and dashboards.

We see many benefits to Sisense. 1)Self-service - end users have access to their own information; 2) informative dashboards help relay effective data story telling 3)data warehouse
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sisense is making our reporting and sharing information easy. The on-boarding was good, there were some technical issues which we overcame with support. Sisense contains many comprehensive features, it may frustrate the non-technical users but the continuous support and online documentation is great. sharing sensitive information using Data security is great and easy to setup.

They are lacking in additional native-supported plugins; too many "must-haves" are third party.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Revenue & labor forecasting, financial analysis, basic and advanced "pace of business" analytics.
Data farm to table solutions that are smart, fast and efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which you can pull data from multiple sources into one cube. The widget options, plugins and scripts are plentiful giving us lots of options for presenting our data in intuitive ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to have a solid cube in order for the dashboarding to flow easily. There were some technical aspects that would have been difficult to grasp without a Sisense resource to guide us initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're getting people excited about data. Our adoption using Sisense has exploded and we're gaining users from all aspects of the business.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use and ability to drill deeper and/or filter relevant information with just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Those with limited knowledge can access Sisense but can’t necessarily do the initial or ongoing setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It may be how we have it set up but we’ve found that information sometimes disappears. It’s also kind of a pain when you have to use a unique email address (we use it for all different clients).
Sisense takes a brilliant approach to data grouping
What do you like best about the product?
The concept of the eCube, a logical grouping of data for the purpose of reporting, makes understanding reporting and data relationships much easier for users than a lot of other tools. This also seems to enhance performance greatly. Much of the interface is pleasing to use and performs really well. Creating dashboards and embedding them is really easy to do and understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the deeper features of the platform are still in development so there can be some rough edges. It's important to keep Sisense up-to-date to maintain experience and this means carefully examining changelogs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool that allowed us to seamlessly embed visualizations into our white labeled application. Sisense fits really well with this model and provides the detailed permissions system that segments the data nicely. We've used it for a couple of years now and it provides a nice polish to our application.
Excellent service coupled with high-end technology
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense handles large datasets extremely well, and the relational elasticube is very useful. Their customer service is top-notch and highly responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
If they could add more and smoother visualizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We handle front-end data processing and visualization for customers through Sisense.
Great BI tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Definitely the visualizations are better than a few other tools I have used. The cubes are easy to build on the elasticube manager and the admin access setup is simple too. I like the Pulse notification feature as you can keep track of certain metrics. Sisense also has great add-ons (free and premium) that can be insightful for a user depending on the industry and use-case.
What do you dislike about the product?
Each version we have upgraded to have had some bug or the other which is fine and expected but in the last few upgrades we had significant bugs that impacted our customer base. The dev team usually rolls over hotfixes onto our installation but 2 of them had no way to be resolved in the same version without the need to upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly descriptive analytics and reporting for our user base. The ease and simplicity to make frontend changes and publish them is definitely a benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are definitely more mature BI tools out there but there is hope in the new versions of Sisense down the road after reviewing their product roadmap and offerings. The customer success team has been fabulous in terms of communication and resolving issues immediately.
