What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the partnership the partnership, alignment and collaboration of the Apptega Team as well as the products ease of use, support and vision.
What do you dislike about the product?
Love Apptega, the plaform is evolving, could use realtime ASM feeds as a part of the Vendor Mgt. Module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Continuity, clarity, reporting, template, checks & balances.
Apptega makes the Security Assessment and Accreditation process much more efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
The cataloging and reporting of security control assessments, for today and tomorrow. The solution is easy to learn how to use for existing security assessors as easy to learn for new security assessors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I developed a SharePoint solution to manage NIST 800-53 assessments back in 2013 so I know what is involved in building a security assessment reporting solution and Apptega has every feature I can think of and more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making the tedious SA&A process much for efficient the first time you use it and with each additional refresh.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate the platform without being overcomplicated. There was not a steep learning curve to use the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding process was a bit unorganized and felt rushed but customer service did respond quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having to track things in spreadsheets.

What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities of the platform to map data across different compliance frameworks is impressive, making a long and complex task into the click of a button. That capability also shows up when managing risks following an assessment, linking assessment gaps to mitigations and solutions. That foundation promises lots of runway as the team keeps developing use cases for assessors and risk managers.
The customer success team has been first rate, assisting with training, content questions, and listening to feedback.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is still evolving. Navigating from one module of the platform to another takes a bit of learning.
The assessment content is also in an early state of maturity. The platform's not ready to replace a security professional with a guided wizard and C-level report, but it's trending in that direction.

Apptega provides a comprehensive list of questions to ask for numerous frameworks and an effective way to capture the responses.

- It would be nice to have a document management system integrated in the solution.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the most time consuming activities when implementing a security program is mapping all the different frameworks/standards that the company needs to implement. Apptega makes this easy because it has all the mappings preconfigured, you only need to select the frameworks and the tool does all the mapping for you.

Pricing: Some users have found Apptega's pricing to be a bit higher compared to other cybersecurity management platforms available in the market.

First, We can improve their cybersecurity posture and reduce the risk of cyber attacks, which can result in financial losses, reputation damage, and legal liabilities. Second, We can achieve compliance with industry standards and regulations more easily, which can help them to gain a competitive edge and build trust with their customers. Good software even better customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Apptega software does a great job helping to facilitate and manage compliance. I love having everything in one place so we can be ready for audits and conduct the audit through the platform. Also, I must mention the excellent customer service that apptega has provided. They make sure you are getting the most out of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no major complaints about the performance of the software. If I am being nitpicky, I do not like saving changes on every main control and subcontrol detail when working on a domain. This would not bother me or disrupt my workflow if it did not delay slightly when I saved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apptega is providing a central location to keep and manage all of our compliance data in one place. This helps us stay organized and prepared for Audit when necessary.
Utilized Apptega for a cross-framework compliance tracking
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily track, report on, and summarize our compliance, and then pivot to how compliant we are in another framework, saved us an incredible amount of time. Entering information once and utilizing the cross mapping feature saved us time and reduced errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
We didn't find any short-comings in the product. New frameworks were constantly being added. New features were actively developed. It has been a pleasure growing with the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apptega helped us get away from cumbersome tracking using spreadsheets, reduced updating data in multiple locations, and streamlined our reporting for the C-Suite and upper management.

Apptega is great for consolidating a full GRC program in one place, including a risk matrix. I love how you can connect multiple security frameworks without doing extra work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see a couple of other features, such as an application-specific risk register and the ability to add custom fields. Hopefully coming soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A central place to develop and manage our GRC program. We use it to assess how we're doing against current standards and plan remediation actions. We've made significant improvements to our security posture in a short time.
