What do you like best about the product?
Commvault Cloud offers a highly reliable and centralized platform for managing data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. What I like most is the simplicity of managing complex data protection tasks through a single interface. The automation features, policy-driven backup schedules, and integration with AWS and Azure make it easy to ensure compliance and data availability without manual intervention. It also provides detailed reporting and analytics, which help in proactively managing risks and optimizing storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Commvault Cloud is a powerful platform, the initial setup and configuration can be quite complex, especially for new users or smaller teams without prior experience. The user interface, though improved over time, still feels a bit overwhelming due to the number of features and settings available. Also, some error messages could be more descriptive to help in quicker troubleshooting. Licensing and pricing models can be a bit confusing at first as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Commvault Cloud helps solve the challenge of managing and protecting data across multiple environments — on-premises, cloud, and hybrid. It consolidates backup, recovery, and disaster recovery into a single platform, which reduces the complexity and overhead of using multiple tools. This has improved our operational efficiency and significantly reduced recovery times during outages or accidental deletions. The built-in automation and reporting also ensure we meet compliance requirements without manual effort, ultimately saving time and reducing risk.

Their is nothing like to dislike but this product comes a bit late in market.

Sri Lanka unavailable for international cloud solution example for AWS, Oracle and etc. only limited local cloud partner only

Great experience of management
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to be managed thru the web console and easy to get familiar with this product. Using one single console can manage all the backup infrastructure in the company
What do you dislike about the product?
In our environment, we only use this product to backup VMware. Many other features are not needed. It will be great to have the option not to install the features like sharepoint, database ,,, feature when we install this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It protects VM servers in our company. We can restore VMs or files in the VM server directly. It is great product to protect our data.

Even tough the implementaion/integration is easy, in some situation customer support lacks a little practive support.

It supports different types of platforms like Windows, Linux, VMware, AWS, and Azure. it will have the ability to scale up. CommVault is suit.It has features like routine backup and recovery, making all tasks easier for IT teams to manage data protection. If we talk about performance then it provides very good performance in terms of backup speed, recovery time & resources utilization.able for all sizes of business.
