Streamlined Database Monitoring with SolarWinds Database Observability
What do you like best about the product?
As a long-time IT administrator, finding the right observability tool that offers both depth and usability can be a challenge. SolarWinds Database Observability delivers on both fronts. From the moment we integrated it into our systems, it became clear that this solution was built with real-world database environments in mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some issue integrating some existing products SolarWinds, but I was able to resolve those issue with little difficulty . If you’re already in the SolarWinds ecosystem, the observability suite only enhances what you can do, without adding complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What stands out most is the platform’s intuitive UI and comprehensive visibility across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. It resolved a major issue we encounter: monitoring PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, the tool provides unified insights into performance metrics, wait times, slow queries, and resource bottlenecks—all from a single dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
With Rakuten SixthSense Data Observability tool, data issues alerting has become very easy. The tool is very easy to use & integrate with other tools like Snowflake etc. Love the comprehensive dashboard for tracking all data metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
new features & integrations should be added now i feel. Rest is all good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With this tool of Rakuten SixthSense, we are getting good data quality, better data freshness & the data pipeline monitoring is also improved. Better data & quality decisionss can be taken now leading to increase in company benefits.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps me create a better visualization for the complex databases I use and helps me show connections and relationships properly. This also helps me ensure data quality, helps me generate reports, and make data exploration easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it helps in automation, it does have its interface and features to learn which may require some time for becoming proficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me with creating comprehensive documentation and visualizations of database structures, relationships and data flow. I also use it for identifying data quality problems by tracing data lineage by flagging inconsistencies and helps me do a deep dive into data dependencies for a Root cause analysis.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like the description of the product says: It analyzes and find performance issues in your databases and that's exactly what it does.
Often times it gives the right information or hints when facing performance issues or even worse scenarios.
It's much faster than trying to find those issues by using queries and you can look at interesting graphs in addition.

Gives us stats on DB sizes, mailbox sizes, errors, etc. The option to prioritize notifications allows for better and more accurate resource allocations

This software has been flexible in establishing the root cause of the most challenges that affect the entire database infrastructure. It has efficient dashboard that displays performance with reliable results that helps in planning. It has powerful troubleshooting tools that streamlines workflows.

All the set systems have great capability of performing the right tasks.

This is the right system for solving SQL server deadlocks. It has enhanced effective workflows from workloads and created positive ROI.
Performance Monitoring for SQL Servers That Works superb.
What do you like best about the product?
I am very good at monitoring SQL Server. I can improve the efficiency of my database by keeping track of my progress in real time. For me it was how simple it was to replace the panels and use overall. Finding and fixing speed issues is made much easier with our systems enhanced notifications. By conducting thorough study and providing detailed reports, I was able to enhance query performance and optimise resource utilisation with my databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me as a new user, setting up more advanced features might take some longer. I feel that the price is way too high for me and other individuals and small companies but the features are like tasty donuts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it comes to monitoring and improving SQL Server, I find SolarWinds SQL Sentry to be the best solution. A lot of information, notifications, and analysis was great. Fixing issues, speeding up queries, and making better use of resources were all greatly assisted by it. My system became more efficient as a result and now Im achieving super speed.

It examines the performance of the SQL database with with quick respopnse on the end user performance. This is the most reliable platform that has kept our database upto date with excellent configurations. The customer support team is reliable and easy to integrate with other applications.

The most useful part with the SQL solar sentry is that it is more flexible and it us designed in such way that to get the data without any comprise and it can be monitored easily wher was the issue and troubleshoot in a easy way

Cons of the SQL sentry is integration part that need a skilled person to take care and also maintenance is done with highly knowledgeable person normal user cannot be able to understand how it works and what is the function of it.
